2015 NSW STATE CDE CHAMPIONSHIPS CONT 2 DRESSAGE TESTS: ALL NEW TESTS Classes 1 3 ACDS Novice No. 2 Classes 4-6 ACDS Intermediate No. 2 Classes 7-9 FEI No 7A Classes 10 15 FEI No. 6A PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE ALL NEW DRESSAGE TESTS AND THEY CAN BE FOUND ON THE ACDS WEBSITE. PLEASE THROW OUT ALL YOUR OLD TESTS Tests will be driven in a 100m x 40m arena at the Club Grounds. If numbers are excessive some classes will run at Shibumi Equestrian Centre, adjacent to the club grounds. Tests may be obtained from the Event Secretary. Presentation on the move for all classes. COMPETITION B: The Marathon will consist of three sections, on grass tracks with creek crossings and on quiet sealed roads with gravel/grass verges, up to 18kms with 8 obstacles. Some Obstacles will contain water crossings and a bridge. Competitors are advised to have fit horses as some sections are steep in parts and stony in some. There will be no official marathon inspection. KANGAROOS ABOUND! NO Vehicle access to Section A & D. COMPETITION C: The Cones Driving will be conducted as a Fault Competition at the Club Grounds. Wheel widths WILL be measured after completion of Cones Course. VET CHECKS: First inspection will commence on Friday 2 nd October at 1pm 5pm, with all horses and ponies in Open Bitted Bridles. There will be a vet check at the end of Section D and after Section E. Final inspection will be in Harness before the cones. AWARDS: Awards to place getters in each competition. 2015 Festival of Driving DRESSAGE CLINIC Mr. Jaap Boom (NED) FEI Level 3 Judge Thursday 1 st October 2015 Jaap is Guest Judge for all Competitions being conducted during the Festival of Driving and will also be presenting a DRESSAGE CLINIC COVERING TECHNICAL ISSUES PERTAINING TO DRESSAGE on Thursday morning, 1 st October 2015 from 8.30am to 12 noon in the SHCC Clubhouse. His experience is vast, having been a Horse Pairs Driver/Competitor from 1978 to 1986, and an FEI Judge for more than 20 years. He is an Instructor/Trainer for national and international drivers (single, pairs and four in hand), and has been the Chef d equipe for Four in Hands for 8 years at World Championships winning 2 Gold and 2 Silver Medals for the Netherlands. Jaap is also the Trainer for his Son Edourd Boom, whom was the World Champion Pony Pairs Driver in 2013 as well as having been placed at World Championships since 2003 till the present time. His experience has a wide coverage of International Carriage Driving Events over many years, so SHCC is pleased to be able to present Jaap s Clinic to ACDS Members and others, whom will undoubtedly will be able to glean something extremely useful from his expertise....
