Rules This regatta will be governed by the 2005-2008 Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), the prescriptions of the United States Sailing Association (USSA), the rules of the International J/24 Class Association, the International J/22 Class Association, and National Soverel 33 Class Associations, this Notice (except as any of these are altered by the

Boats will be subject to random inspection at any time during the regatta. Sailing Instructions Sailing instructions will be available by 10:30 am on Saturday, March 10th at registration.
Prizes Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 skippers and crews of each fleet Entries Each entry must be submitted on the attached entry form with the $55.00 entry fee and other appropriate fees. Entries shall be received by Monday, March 5th. Late entries may be accepted and will be subject to a late fee of $20. Checks should be payable to J/24 Fleet 115. Launching and Haul-Out Limited transient storage before the regatta may be available at Lake Lanier Sailing Club. Contact Linda Baker at 770-967-0606 or 770-480-3484 for more information. General Support boats and outside assistance will not be allowed. All yachts will be afloat by 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 10 and shall remain in the water until the end of the regatta except with and according to the terms of prior written permission of the Jury. Underwater breathing apparatus, plastic pools or their equivalent shall not be used during the regatta. Yachts shall neither make nor receive radio communications while racing. Housing Participants may sleep in their boats. Campsites are available at Lake Lanier Sailing Club. Directions to Lake Lanier Sailing Club The sailing club is located off Interstate 985 near Flowery Branch approximately 40 miles north of Atlanta. From Atlanta, take I-85 North to I- 985. Go 11 miles to Exit 12, Flowery Branch. Turn left under the expressway bridge and continue on Sprouts Spring. Go.7 miles to dead end at Atlanta Highway. Turn right for 0.2 miles to Spring Street; turn left and cross the railroad tracks; continue past the Methodist Church to the dead end at Gainesville Street. Turn right, follow road for 0.8 miles to stoplight at McEver Road. Cross McEver through light (road name changes to Jim Crow Road and again to Old Federal Road); *continue for 2.4 miles to white rail fence at the sailing club on left. Landmarks include Pop s Stop on the right and an Old Federal Park sign before the sailing club. From South Carolina, take I-85 South to Route 53 - Braselton. Turn right; continue for approximately 10 miles through a small shopping area, passing under I 985 and continue on Mundy Mill Road (a four lane road) to McEver Road. Turn left onto McEver Road. Continue past a high school; look for signs to Old Federal Park and Flowery Branch Elementary School. At the stoplight at Jim Crow Road, turn right. Chevron Station and Liquor store on right (The road to the left is Gainesville Street). Continue as above at *.
