Time for match: 1 minute and 30 seconds for all age groups. The kumite individual competition is run on IJKA rules Ippon Shobu (2 wazari or 1 Ippon). No limit of participation. AWARDS Awards for the IJKA World Open Karate-do Championship and 7th Asai memorial Cup will be diplomas for all competitors. For individual Kata events, awards will be diplomas and medals for 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd places. For kumite individual and team events there will be diplomas and medals for 1 st, 2 nd and (two bronze medals) two 3 rd places. The team events awards will also include medals for team members. COMPETITION FEE AND SEMINAR FEE Fee entry for COMPETITORS 20, for one event 30 for 2 two events (KUMITE and KATA) 40 for 3 three or more events (KUMITE, KATA and IJKA Kata) TEAM 40 for each team event (KATA or KUMITE) For ex eastern bloc and similar economy status countries 50% discount from the individual competition fee if participate in the seminar.
