Kalibrgun Cricket series Regulated Airspace Increaser (RAI) with gauge, installing instruction by AS First I must thank you for buying RAI. RAI is designed to use in the Kalibrgun Cricket series and nowhere else. All RAI units are pressure tested to over 300 bar (every unit you can see the detailed info of the pressure test) and that s why RAI is safe to use. If you receive somehow damaged RAI unit, please contact seller before install it. If RAI unit is modified somehow the seller doesn t take any responsible if something happens. You must understand that high pressures are extreme dangerous and can kill you if miss used. 1(11) RAI unit increases Cricket total airspace about 5 % and it shows the user what is the setting pressure of the regulator. Small pressure gauges doesn t have the best accurate (and there is some variation between the gauges), but it shows you does the regulator work and you know that standard un changed Cricket regulator setting is 110 Bar. When you know this you can estimate gauge s error rate and compensate it. Example standard cricket regulator setting was 110 bar ~ 1600 PSI but the gauge shows you 1800 PSI, then you know that error is about 200 PSI to up. Notice that when filling the gun the regulator doesn t work right (sometimes) and there must shot one or two times before it starts regulate right. When you start know your gun you know when it works right and when not. I think there was all the general talk and now let s start to install RAI. If you feel after reading this install instruction that you can t do the install safe, please contact seller who sold you RAI-unit and ask further instruction. I m sure they can help you out. 1. Before starting installing, make sure that gun is not loaded! 2. Helping assembling back first is good to mark barrel and air tube places. 2.1 Tapes 2.3 Cut the tape with sharp knife. Be careful to scratch anything. 2.2 Mark pressure tube and action housing
(11) 2.4 Mark barrel align to barrel and monoblock 2.5 Measure pressure tube shift with RAI unit and mark align like picture 3. Remove the screw what retaining stock. 4. Remove stock (Notice mark tapes)
(11) 5. Remove trigger link 6. Loosen the pressure tube bleed screw carefully. CAUTION! Do not under any circumstances open it fully open when you have pressure in the tube! Emptying the tube takes no more than two minute. 7. Before continue check from the pressure gauge that tube is fully empty
(11) 8. Loosen screws what hold the pressure tube 9. Remove trigger mechanism assembly from other parts. It can be little bit stiff to remove but wiggling it little bit helps. Notice that I have cocked the gun just to prevent any damage to bolt.
(11) 10. Remove the valve assembly from the pressure tube. CAUTION! pressure tube must be fully empty, before removing valve assembly! Valve assembly can be closed very hard, you can use example a hex tool helping to get it loose, but you must be careful and not to bend valve pin. 11. Install valve assembly to the RAI unit. Tight it fully in, but no need over tight. RAI unit threads are greased with silicone grease, but If you want you can add it to threads. NOTICE! use only silicone grease, nothing else! 12. Loosen four hex screws in the monoblock, don t remove just loosen.
(11) 13. Slide pressure tube back so the RAI unit can installed easy and screw RAI unit to the pressure tube. Again tight it fully in, but no need over tight. Alignment should be like this 14. Slide pressure tube back it on place and align it like picture. Check also that the barrel align marks are on place.
(11) 15. Tight monoblock screws so that barrel and pressure tube holds on place, no fully tight yet. 16. Install trigger mechanism assembly on its place. Again notice cocking. Alignment should look like this
(11) 17. Tight pressure tube holding screws, first hex screw and then flat screw. 18. Tight the pressure tube bleed screw fully in and relatively tight. TIP, you can remove screw and add it some silicone grease help opening. 19. To prevent unwanted dry shot, release cocking keep cocking leveler and press trigger mechanism on forward, after you feel that cocking leveler resists you can slowly let it come on its normal place. 17.1 Hold 17.3 Slowly let leveler come on place That was hard to explain, I hope that you get the point. 17.2 Push forward
(11) 20. Install trigger link on its place 21. Fit stock on the place and tight stock holding screw. When fitting stock on place, you must slightly slide monoblock to fit stock perfectly after stock is on place tight four monoblock screws. 22. Now you can remove all tapes and your Cricket should look like this, if not something went terribly wrong.
23. Installing cheek peace. Notice that I don t have composite stock model and I can t say how to cheek peace fit on that. 23.1. Wooden cheek peace doesn t fit perfectly without modifications 10(11) 23.2. When you have cheek peace on place mark the outer edges of gauge with tape to cheek peace.
.3. Carve with sharp blade from cheek peace inner surface, it s necessary to remove about 1-2 mm 11(11) 23.4. Now RAI unit is fully fitted and it should look like this 24. Fill your gun and you are ready to shoot! Before start filling remember cock it, if you're not cock it, hammer presses the valve open and air just flows thru. I wish you happy shootings!
