Pickaway-Ross Morning Announcements Thursday, April 11, 2019 Attention PRCTC Staff and Students Applications for the Joseph Landman Memorial MADE scholarship are available for students to pick up from Ms. Landman in the guard shack or from Mrs. Tackett in the Director s Office. This scholarship will be awarded to a student that is active in the MADE program. The deadline to return the application is Monday, April 29. April is Distracted Driver Awareness month. Did you know that 5 seconds is the average time you take your eyes off the road to text? Alarmingly, that is also enough tim to cover the length of a football field when driving at 55 mph. Please Don t Drive Distracted! The senior ceremony slide show is in the works. If you would like your senior picture used instead of the Pickaway-Ross school picture, you need to email a JPG image to Erika Konowalow at erika@pickawayross.com or give Mrs. Cochenour a regular picture to be scanned. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Cochenour. Pickaway-Ross s prom, Under the Big Top, will be held on PRCTC grounds on May 11 th. Student Council would like to invite members of the student body to join the 2019 prom committee. Students will be responsible for attending weekly meetings until prom. See Ms. Hewitt or Mrs. Deaton for details. Huntington and Zane Trace Seniors: Jostens will be here on Wednesday, April 17 th during the lunches to deliver your graduation announcements and caps and gowns. Unioto seniors: you will be receiving your graduation announcements at this time; caps and gowns will be distributed at a later date. The MD Class is having a yard sale on Friday during all lunch periods outside the library. Come buy a pencil, pen, pater, etc. and receive a buckeye, brownie, chocolate chip cookie or rice krispy treat.

Attention PRCTC Staff and Students-continued SkillsUSA students competing in the SkillsUSA State competition must return all signed forms to Ms. Schiff in the guidance office this week. Adena Attention all seniors: graduation practice will be on Thursday, May 23 rd at 8:00 a.m. at Adena High School commencing in the cafeteria with a senior breakfast. We will start rehearsal shortly following breakfast. Please bring your cap/gowns with you to practice. DO NOT WEAR THEM, please. The Senior Class of Adena High School (2019) will be taking a single day field trip to the Columbus Zoo in Powell, OH, on Tuesday, April 23 rd. Students will be responsible for lunch on their own. If a student does not wish to purchase lunch on their own, you can see Mrs. Nusbaum for other options. Admission tickets to the zoo will be provided for all seniors by the senior class. So, there will be no cost for tickets to the zoo on April 23 rd. Permission slips for the trip are due Friday, April 12 th NO EXCEPTIONS. PRCTC students can pick up your forms in the Adena High School office or print them from the link. Departure time on Tuesday, April 23 rd will be 8:00 a.m. with a return time of 2:00 p.m. Students will arrive at the zoo at approximately 9:30 a.m. and meet at the bus at 1:00 p.m. near the entrance to the zoo. Any questions, please contact Ms. Nusbaum at alex.nusbaum@adenalocalschools.com. Even if you are 18 years of age you must have the form signed by a parent or guardian. A spaghetti Dinner sponsored by the Clarksburg High School Alumni Association to raise money for Adena High School Scholarships will be held on Thursday, April 25th from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Clarksburg United Methodist Church. Dinner includes spaghetti with meatballs, salad dessert and drink. Cost is $7.00. Dine in or carry out. Seniors Please see Mr. Mathis for any questions regarding the 2020 Senior Class Trip to Walt Disney World All-Star Sports Resort in May 2020. Please keep checking the Adena Daily communique for updates. The junior class of Adena High School will be sponsoring the 2019 Adena High School Prom on Saturday, May 4 th. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Grand March begins at 6:00 p.m. with the dinner to follow at 7:00 p.m. The dance follows

Adena - continued beginning at 8:00 p.m. The theme, ticket price and purchase window will be announced soon. NO tickets will be available for sale at the door. Ticket admission to prom includes entry to the dinner and after-prom. Please remember that once a student leaves, there will be no re-entry. All students must fill our and return a school conduct contract in order to purchase tickets and their guests must have a contract filled out and signed by their school s principal. Contracts will be available in the upcoming future. Contracts must be turned in at the time of purchasing tickets. Students will also need to turn in their table seating names in to the high school office at a date closer to the date of the prom. Chillicothe Chillicothe seniors please stop in the Counseling Office to pick up a hand out regarding all end of the year events and important dates. Circleville Circleville seniors need to stop by the Counseling Office and pick up a packet with important graduation information from Circleville High School. Information will also be posted in the bulletin board in the Commons Area. Tryouts for the 2019 Color Guard are coming up April 29 th -May 3 rd from 3:30-5:30 pm in the high school band room. This is open to any student currently in grades 7 through 11. No experience with flag or dance is necessary. Anyone interested in trying out should pick up an information packet to complete outside the band room. There are several more scholarships coming out! Please see the Guidance Office at the high school for an application. A new scholarship that is available is the Kingston National Bank Scholarship due April 12 th. Attention Seniors: Jostens will deliver your cap & gown, custom school announcements and all other graduation products on Wednesday, April 17 th @ lunch in the alumni room. This is the only scheduled day for you to pick up your graduation items. Please remember to bring in your final payment. If you owe any money an invoice has been mailed to your home please check with your parents. If you would like to pay in advance over the phone please call 1-800- Jostens. Just a reminder, checks are no longer accepted for final payment.

Circleville - continued Prom tickets are on sale now until April 24 th on EZPay.com for $25. Tickets can only be purchased through EZ-Pay, so plan ahead!! If your re bringing a date from another school, please pick up a REQUEST form from the front office, the due date for forms is also on April 24 th. If any senior is interested in being prom queen/king, sign up with Any Rhymer in the guidance office. Senior Shirts are available for pick up in Mr. Evans room. Huntington Prom and After-Prom tickets will be on sale today until Thursday, April 18 th. Cost is $40 for a single prom ticket, dinner included. $10 for a single After-Prom ticket, bowling and pizza included. Tickets can be purchased in Mrs. Barnett s room during Flex and after school on those days. Prom permission forms are in the office. You must return this form if you are planning to bring a student from another school or a graduate. Yearbook order forms are available in the high school office. The date for Huntington s graduation has changed. Graduation will now be on Sunday, May 19 th at 2:00 p.m. The form you must fill out to attend your prom is now available in the Counseling Office. Logan Elm Senior pictures for the yearbook are available to proof on-line. Use the link on twitter to view. Seniors please join the Class of 2019 Google Classroom for information regarding senior year, applying to college, career info, etc.

Southeastern The TJ Popp Memorial Scholarship forms are available on the scholarship counter in the Guidance Area at the high school. Completed forms are due back to Mrs. Pugh by April 15. Unioto Attention Unioto Seniors: Important information and deadlines are posted in the Unioto bulletin board in the commons area. Please stop and take a look so you don t miss out on this important information! Prom Dance Contract/Guest forms are now available in the High School office. Tickets will go on sale next week. Tuesday through Friday you will be able to purchase tickets during lunch in the auditeria and after school outside the main office. You will need your dance contract when you purchase your prom ticket. May 16 is the deadline for Unioto seniors at PRCTC to let the high school office know if they DO NOT intend to participate in Unioto s graduation ceremony. Seniors check the College Room at the high school for new scholarships. Scholarships that are now available. Your dance form to attend Unioto s prom is now available in the Counseling Office. Westfall Class of 2019, graduation is right around the corner! It is time to double check your records to make sure you have ordered everything you need for graduation this year. If you have questions about an existing order, please contact our official graduation supplier, Jostens, by calling 1-800-567-8367. Congrats Class of 2019!! NHS will be hosting a Junior vs., Senior Powder Puff Volleyball game on Sunday, April 28 th at 2PM. Seniors, please check your email from Mrs. Kelley for the spreadsheet to pick the staff member to hand you your diploma.

Westfall - continued Tupper Photography will be providing pictures at prom you should have received a package list in your email. The information is also in the office. Seniors, please complete the survey that is in your email ASAP. Zane Trace Cap and Gowns will be coming in around April 12 th.
