RULES OF THE DAY 1. Release and Waiver of Liability Please complete the form provided in the centre-fold of this program, tear it out and hand it to the officials prior to participating in any of the events. 2. Hard hats (in compliance with Australian Standards AS3838) jodhpurs and riding boots to be worn in all events, riding coats optional and school jumpers acceptable. 3. School classes/pairs to ride in their school jumper. 4. The organisers reserve the right to alter or delete any event without prior notice. 5. There will be no waiting for competitors. 6. All persons entering the ground do so at their own risk. All care taken and no liability accepted by Gymkhana organisers or Chevalier College. 7. HORSEMANSHIP TRIAL Competitors are invited to enter an individual time trial where riders undertake a series of tasks. Tasks may include opening and closing a gate (whilst seated on horse), moving a coat or sugar bag, jumping hay bales, rounding a barrel and returning through a series of flags. The final trial design will be confirmed on the day, with Course Walk from approx. 10:00am This time trial is open to all ages, beginner riders are especially encouraged. All riders compete as individuals and are timed. Horsemanship Trial registration will be open until 10:00am. The Trial will be open from 10:30am and close at 3:00pm. Competitors should arrange a time when entering, to fit their trial in during the day.
