YOUR IMPACT IN 2018 Net proceeds from the Bay St. Tournament go towards Eva s Initiatives for Homeless Youth to support their important work with homeless and at-risk youth in Toronto. All funds raised in Toronto stay in Toronto. Eva s is an award-winning organization that provides shelter, transitional housing, and programming to help young people experiencing homelessness reach their potential to lead productive, self-sufficient, and healthy lives. Eva s gives youth the tools to transition out of homelessness permanently. In 2018, HHTH provided $390,000 in funding for Eva s which has enabled shelter and housing for young people in crisis and access to recreation, health, and wellness programming. From these funds, it enabled 123 young people aged 16 to 24 experiencing homelessness receive daily access to safe facilities to sleep, nourishing meals, and living essentials. In addition to providing shelter, HHTH helped Eva s provide recreation programming for more than 2,023 youth, with 104 sport & 163 art activities offered and 123 excursions embarked on.
DRAFT NIGHT RULES The purpose of this evening is to pick the Pros that you will share the ice with on Saturday, April 13 th at Scotiabank Pond. Your team s draft ranking will correspond to your team s online fundraising total at the time of the draft. 1. Standard Draft Format, meaning the top fundraising team will draft their pro first, the second top fundraising team will draft second, and we will continue in that order until all teams have drafted their first HHTH pro. The second round will begin again with the top fundraising team until every team has drafted their second pro. 2. Each Captain will have one minute to make their decision. After one minute, if the Captain has not made a choice, their turn is forfeited until the draft is over and a Pro will be assigned.
