Persnal implements (shts and ple vaults) shall be presented at the strage rm in the indr arena. Javelins/hammers/discuses shall be presented at the utdr TIC until ne hur befre the event, subject t checks. They will be available t all cmpetitrs. Each athletes will cmpete with the implement f his/her age categry - U20 (als yuth) r U23. After the cmpetitin the implements will be cllected at the strage rm r TIC. Ples and Ple bags shuld be clearly marked with the athlete s name and cuntry. Dressing Dressing rms with shwers are lcated at the indr sprts centre. Final Cnfirmatin f Entries 3/6
Upn arrival, Team Leaders will receive a cpy f their final entry frms, n which they can make any last minute changes. The final declaratin f athletes and cnfirmatin f entries must be submitted t the LOC by the Team Leader upn the arrival in Halle/Saale. The start lists will be distributed t the Team Leaders after the Technical Meeting. After the Technical Meeting justified changes due t injury, illness r ther uncntrllable matters will be pssible until the beginning f the respective event, prvided that the Technical Delegate has been previusly infrmed and has accepted the change. The final cnfirmatin f members f the relay teams and their rder will be accepted at the Technical Infrmatin Centre (TIC) n later than 60 minutes prir t the start f the relay. Cmpetitin Numbers After the Technical Meeting the team leaders will receive three bib`s number per athlete (t be pinned n the frnt and back) and fr bag`s and clthing. Scre - indr Cmpetitin Men s teams and wmen s teams will scre separately. The Victry Ceremny will be fr men, wmen and verall scre. The winner f each individual event shall scre 6 pints, the secnd classified 5 pints, the third classified ne pint less until the last classified scres 1 pint. The scres fr the relay will be as fllws: 1st classified 6 pints, 2nd classified 4 pints, 3rd classified 2 pints. Athletes r relay teams disqualified r failing t finish will nt scre any pints. In the case f a tied event, the cmbined pints f the tied cmpetitrs shall be divided equally. In the case f a tie in the verall ttal f pints, the team with the mst first places in the individual events will be the winner. Shuld the tie then still remain, the team with the greater number f secnd places shall be given the higher psitin and this system shall be applied, if necessary, t subsequent placing until the tie is decided. The races f 60m and 60m hurdles will be carried ut in tw heats. The classificatins will be determined by adding up bth times f the athlete achieved in the heats, the winner will be the athlete with the fastest aggregate time. Scre - lng thrws Men s teams and wmen s teams will scre separately. There will be a Victry Ceremny fr men + wmen and the verall scre. The winner f each individual event shall scre 9 pints, the secnd classified 8 pints, the third classified ne pint less and s n until the last classified scres 1 pint. Cmpetitin Clthing IAAF Rule 143 will be strictly applied. Clthing and items nt cnfrming t this Rule and the current IAAF Advertising Regulatins will be remved at the Call Rm. The cmpetitrs must wear the Member Federatin s fficial team clthing. All team members must wear the same unifrm. A cmpetitr wearing any ther clthing has n access t the cmpetitin area and will nt be allwed t cmpete. The clthing will be checked in the Call Rm befre entering the infield. Lane and Starting Order / Height The allcatin f lanes, thrw r jump rder fr men/wmen, the jumping start heights and height prgressin fr High Jump and Ple Vault will be decided upn at the Technical Meeting accrding t final entries. Warming Up Befre Events Warming up will take place at the Warm Up Track in the Indr Hall, which is lcated n the grund flr alng the bend ppsite t the 60m start line. Call Rm The Indr Call Rm is lcated at the end f the warm Up Track (see track field layut). The Callrm Cntrl fr the lng Thrws takes place at the Cmpetitin venue. The main task f the Call Rm is the cntrl and the check-in f athletes befre the start f each event. It als enables the judges t rder the athletes accrding t the starting lists prir t each event befre they enter the cmpetitin site. Athletes must appear n their wn at the scheduled time at the Call Rm. This means that all delegatins must ensure that their athletes are aware f the last check-in times fr entry t the Call Rm. Athletes arriving late at the Call Rm may be excluded frm participating in the event. Prcedures Once in the Call Rm, athletes will be identified. After identificatin the fllwing checks will be carried ut: Cmpetitin bib numbers, Cmpetitin clthing, Cmpetitin shes. It is nt permitted t take cmpetitin equipment (implements) r any technical devices (radi, walkman, cellular phne, etc.) int the cmpetitin arena. Frm the Call Rm, athletes will be escrted by an fficial t their start area n the track r t the applicable field event site. Track athletes shall, befre the start f the race, place their persnal belngings in baskets. The athletes will be called t the practice trials in the cmpetitin rder. Only fficial markers prvided by the LOC will be allwed fr marking the runways. Trials in Field Events and lng thrws All participants in the fllwing field and lng thrws events will be allwed six (6) trials: Lng Jump / Triple Jump Sht Put / Hammer thrw / Javelin thrw / Discus thrw Track Events Tracksuits shall be placed in baskets at the start, and these will be taken t the Mixed Zne fr cllectin after the race. Starter s Cmmands The starter s cmmands will be given in English. The starter s cmmand fr the distances up t and including 400 m and relay 4 X 200 are: On yur marks; Set; starting gun. 5/6

Leaving the arena during the cmpetitin When a field event is in prgress, athletes may nt leave the field unless they have been previusly authrized t d s by the Chief Judge f that event, and nly if accmpanied by an fficial. Drinking Statins Water is prvided in the Warm-up Area. Prtests and Appeals Any prtest shall, in the first instance be made verbally t the Referee by either the athlete r by smene acting n his/her behalf. The Referee maybe identified by an armband. If the Referee makes a decisin, there shall be a right f appeal t the Jury. Any prtest must be made within 30 minutes f the annuncement f the results. The results are cnsidered t be fficially annunced when the fficial list f results has been psted n the infrmatin bard utside the TIC. An Appeal is t be submitted t the TIC in writing, in English n the special Appeal Frm prvided by the TIC within 30 minutes after the decisin f the Referee. A depsit f 100,00 shuld be submitted tgether with the appeal. This depsit will be frfeited if the appeal is nt upheld. The Appeal may nly be submitted by a staff member f the athlete s wn team. When the Appeal is being handled, a team representative must be easily reachable in case the Jury wishes t questin him. The Jury s decisin will be prvided in writing. Dping Cntrl Dping Cntrl will be cnducted in accrdance with the IAAF rules and regulatins. The Dping Cntrl Statin is lcated at the Sprt Centre Brandberge (Cmpetitin venue). Testing fllwing Natinal Recrds: all athletes wh have achieved a natinal recrd and were nt chsen fr dping cntrls may vluntarily submit themselves t testing. In this case the csts fr the test will be at their wn expenses. The Natinal Federatin cncerned will receive an invice t be paid by bank transfer.
