If a player from Pan Am has played in the event (MS SL3, MS SL4, MS SU5 or MS SS6) at four (4) or fewer tournaments during the qualification period in his actual or a less impaired Sport class, the total points won (according to BWF ranking system) are added to calculate his Road to Lima 2019 ranking points. 2. If a player from Pan Am has played in the event (MS SL3, MS SL4, MS SU5 or MS SS6) at more than four (4) tournaments during the qualification period in his actual or a less impaired Sport class, the four highest points won (according BWF ranking system) are added to calculate his Road to Lima 2019 ranking points. See example on page 4 3. Six (6) athletes with the highest-ranking points qualifies for Lima 2019. Please see maximum allocation per NPC. 1. For a WH2 player, her Road to Lima ranking points are calculated by following Qualification Rule A*. Qualification Rule B* Women s Singles WH1- WH2 2. If a WH1 player from Pan Am has played in a WS WH1 or WS WH2 event at four (4) or fewer tournaments during the qualification period, the total points won (according BWF ranking system) from WH2 events are added to the total points won (according BWF ranking system) at WH1 events which are multiplied by 0.7 (WH1->WH2 points). This will calculate her Road to Lima 2019 ranking points. 1

If a WH1 player from Pan Am has played in a WS WH1 or WS WH2 event at more than four (4) tournaments during the qualification period, the four highest WH2 (according BWF ranking system) or WH1->WH2 points are added to calculate her Road to Lima 2019 ranking points. This will calculate her Road to Lima 2019 ranking points. 3. If a SL4 player from Pan Am has played in a WS SL4 or WS SU5 event at more than four (4) tournaments during the qualification period, the four highest SU5 (according BWF ranking system) or SL4->SU5 points are added to calculate her Road to Lima 2019 ranking points. 4. If a SL3 player from Pan Am has played in a WS SL3, WS SL4 or WS SU5 event at four (4) or fewer tournaments during the qualification period, the total points won (according BWF ranking system) from SU5 events are added to the total of points won (according BWF ranking system) from SL4 events which are multiplied by 0.7 (SL4->SU5 points) plus the total points won (according BWF ranking system) from SL3 events which are 2

If a SL3 player from Pan Am has played in a WS SL3, WS SL4 or WS SU5 event at more than four (4) tournaments during the qualification period, the four highest SU5 (according BWF ranking system) or SL4->SU5 points or SL3->SU5 points are added to calculate her Road to Lima 2019 ranking points. See example on page 4 3. All male athletes must be qualified in the men s single 4. At least two (2) of the female athletes must be qualified in the women s single. 5. The six (6) highest ranked pairs satisfying point 3 & 4 qualifies for Lima 2019. 6. BWF will have the final decision.
