Visitors who come to Big Cedar Lodge on group trips leave with an affinity for nature that s matched only by the experiences shared with fellow group mates. It s as if the wind that whistles through the trees surrounding our natural respite accompanies them all the way back to their doorstep or the corporate boardroom. We invite you to take part in the family of Big Cedar Lodge activities during your next group trip. Hillbilly Olympics Channel your inner Olympian for our special Big Cedar-style Olympics on the Swimmin Hole Lawn. We offer hillbilly horseshoes, outhouse toss, watermelon eating, sling shots, spam carving, hula hoop and many other games that are guaranteed to have everyone laughing their way to the gold all while sporting our redneck attire! Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the winning team. This activity requires a minimum of 10 participants (max. of 50) and has a 1-1.5 hour time commitment (varies based on group size). Chili Cook-Off Your group will be divided into teams. Each team will be given the same ingredients and tools to cook up a great dish in one hour. Each bowl of chili will be presented to our judges to determine who will be the Chili Champs! This activity requires a minimum of 14 participants and has a 1.5 hour minimum time commitment. Paint & Pour Create a masterpiece with teammates, family or friends! Our art instructor will walk you through step-by-step in a fun, laid-back environment. No painting skills are required, and we ll provide all the supplies needed, including easels, paint, canvas, brushes and an apron. You get to take the apron and your artwork home! This activity requires a minimum of 10 participants and has a 2 hour minimum time commitment. Participants must be 12 years of age or older.
Lawn Games In addition to Big Cedar s wild surroundings, our property is also home to manicured lawns and games that everyone can enjoy. For your group, select from high energy games or more reserved sports such as horseshoes, cornhole, washers and giant tic-tac-toe. This activity is offered in 2 hour increments. Pirate Treasure Scavenger Hunt To scavenge is to discover and Big Cedar Lodge is a treasure trove of adventure. On the pirate treasure hunt, teams will receive a list of riddles. The search takes place on your very own pontoon boat out on the lake in search of your pirate treasure. After all of the booty is recovered, all pirates will return to land for a pirate song you ll write together. This activity requires a minimum of 10 participants and has a 2.5 hour minimum time commitment. Ozark Olympics Your team will enjoy a funfilled day of Ozarks-style sporting events! Friendly competition mixed with team-oriented activities will leave your group with great memories of the Ozarks lifestyle and experiences. Activities include guided fishing on Table Rock Lake, shooting disciplines at the Bass Pro Shops Shooting Academy and golf at one of Big Cedar s world-class golf courses. Make the Ozark Olympics an annual event for your group and people will look forward to it each year! This activity requires a minimum of 10 participants (max. of 84) and has a 7 hour time commitment. Dorothy Worman Land Scavenger Hunt Teams will be given a list of items to collect around property, pictures to take, names to retrieve and more! This fun interactive event requires a lot of walking as you search all over the Big Cedar property. Teams choose their own team name and decorate their flag to take home to remember their scavenger hunt. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team. This activity requires a minimum of 10 participants and has a 1.5 hour minimum time commitment. Proper footwear is required.
Par Bar Is your team up to par? The Top of the Rock Golf Course Practice Facility features an Arnold Palmer Driving Range with ten fully-lit target greens and three teeing decks with recessed lighting. We ll provide a mobile bar with alcohol of your choice for your group to enjoy while spending time on the range. This activity requires a minimum of 10 participants and has a 1 hour minimum time commitment. Participants must be 21 years of age or older. Private Campfire Bring the whole team for a private campfire. S mores are available for an extra sweet treat! This activity is offered in 2 hour increments. Beer & Bingo Play a relaxing hour of Bingo while enjoying a beer in our Table Rock Event Room at Fun Mountain. Includes eight games with prizes, Chex Mix and two bottles of beer or wine per participant. Participants must be 21 years of age or older. Whiskey 101 Treat your team to a whiskey WHISKEY tasting led by a local distiller 101 and learn about the unique qualities of each offering as you enjoy the tasting. Each class will include five specially-picked samples, followed by a full cocktail. You will learn about the origins, history and methods of production, as well as how to critically taste spirits. This activity requires a minimum of 10 participants and has a 1 hour minimum time commitment. Participants must be 21 years of age or older.
Fun Mountain This 50,000-square-foot amusement complex features endless entertainment options for your group. Your Fun Mountain Adventure Guide will assign teams and set your group on the path to adventure! Team members will have to work together to win the most challenges and take 1st place. This activity requires a minimum of 10 participants (max. 24); 6 participants per bowling lane. Teams will be split as evenly as possible based on total number of participants. Sharks & Minnows Package: This option features a series of indoor activities. First up is Uncle Buck s Fish Bowl where the teams will experience underwater-themed bowling. Next, the teams take turns at NBA Hoops Basketball. After basketball is the Ice Ball Challenge and the last stop is Fort Big Cedar Laser Tag. Tidal Wave Package: This option features a series of indoor activities. First up is Uncle Buck s Fish Bowl where the teams will experience underwater-themed bowling. Choose between a 5-frame challenge or frame-by-frame challenges (i.e. everyone on the 3rd frame bowls granny style, 4th frame backwards, 5th frame sitting on the floor, etc). Next, teams will compete inside our state-of-the-art Shooting Simulator! See who can be the top shot showman and rack up points for their team. After shooting, compete in a 20-minute arcade free for all which team can collect the most tickets from over 60 arcade games. Lastly, teams will compete in a game of Big Cedar Laser Tag! Big Kahuna Package: This option features a series of both indoor and outdoor activities and will be available weather permitting. First up is Uncle Buck s Fish Bowl where the teams will experience 5-frames of underwaterthemed bowling. Next, teams will head to Thunder Alley for a race to the finish in our NASCAR-themed go-carts. After the race, head three stories up to the Timber Ridge Ropes Course challenge. Team members will be timed from the ground to the top of the course for an exhilarating relay race. Lastly, teams will compete in a game of Big Cedar Laser Tag!
Photo Scavenger Hunt Whereas some scavenger hunts require collecting things, our Big Cedar Lodge photo scavenger hunt is all about getting the perfect picture. Once all photos are taken, teams return to the Swimmin Hole Lawn to show off their photos. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team. This activity requires a minimum of 10 participants and has a 1 hour minimum time commitment. Big Cedar Buck Off Nothing bonds a group of coworkers, family members or clients like a good ol fashioned rodeo. Strap on chaps and compete for braggin rights and prizes in a mechanical bull ridin rodeo. We ll judge and score your competition and award the winners with a belt buckle for 1st place, trophy for 2nd place and a t-shirt/ hat combo for 3rd place. Complimentary water and Big Cedar Chex Mix will be provided, with an optional cash bar. Or, make it a Buck Off Barbeque and indulge your group with a barbeque menu of mouthwatering foods prepared by Big Cedar s Culinary Team. This activity has a maximum number of 50 participants and a 2 hour minimum time commitment. Shooting Academy Challenge Located at our very own Bass Pro Shops Shooting Academy, your outdoor survival skills will be put to the test. This fun team building competition will engage the group with BB guns, archery, sling shots, pellet guns and tent building. Medals and prizes will be awarded to the winning team as well as a top shot medal to the highest score. This activity requires a minimum of 10 participants (max. of 50) and has a 1.5-3 hour minimum time commitment (varies based on group size). Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
