The old septic systemss have sunken when settling and have created deep holes which may be hazardous. There will be a repair crew available to repair yards that have thesee sink-holes. Kwey Kitigan Zibi Anishnabeg Community Members My name is Maria Brennan and I am running for Kitigan Zibi band Council. I would like to thank Justin Petonoquot and Jacob King for nominating me. I m honest, hardworking and can handle the challenges ahead. I will work hard to make our community prosperous. I believe in transparency. My background and experience is in Economic Development in Private Enterprise. I am the successful owner, operator of Esso Gas Bar, Laundry Mat, Carwash for the past eleven (11) years. I am currently serving on the board of directors of the SADC for the economic development for the Upper Gatineau geographical area. I have been on the board for the past 6 years. I worked for Desert Oil Distribution Centre (Bulk Plant) as a manager operator for fifteen(15) years handling the operation of wholesale distribution of heating oil, gasoline, diesel and oil. I want to serve on the Kitigan Zibi Council because I believe we can do more Economic development to maximize the Sugar Bush operation, more private business. Develop a Aquaculture. I would want to engage in more training for Sopfeu, Small Business Management and Marketing. I approach this position with dedication,commitment, and fresh ideas for the future.
