FINAL INSTRUCTIONS No 1 1. Thank you for your entry to the Orchard Rally 2009. Your Competition Number is. In Class. 2. The Scrutiny / Start / Finish venue is, Loughgall, map reference 9315 5190. Scrutiny will take place from 19.00 hrs to 20.15 hrs. First Car will be starting at 8.46 pm 3. The following types of navigation may be used: Straight Line / Herring Bone, Trace, Grid Lines, Spot Heights, Tulip Diagrams and Clockface. 4. There will be three types of sections: Regularity, Competitive Relaxed and Non- Competitive. 5. Maps required are O.S.N.I. 1:50,000 Sheet 19 C Edition. 6. The rally will take place within the following gridlines: N60, S40, E00, W85. 7. The measured mile is on the Portadown/Loughgall Road starting at 9335 5220 heading towards Loughgall and marked by luminous motorsport arrows. 8. All Main Time Control and Intermediate Time Check officials are appointed Judges of Fact. 9. Crews should ensure that they have sufficient fuel for the event (approx 80 miles for Classes 1 and 2 and 61 miles for Classes 3 and 4) and for the journey home. There will be no petrol available at the finish. 10. Competitors in Class 4 are reminded that membership of North Armagh Motorcycle & Car Club is a necessity for this event. Membership is 12.00. All Class 1, 2 & 3 competitors must produce valid MSA Competition Licences and membership cards for an ANICC member Club. You are reminded that at all Controls and Checks the onus is on the competitor to ensure that the marshal records the correct competition number and, if applicable, time, and that you receive the correct route instructions. 3. The correct route between all Controls will be the shortest route that follows the route instructions. 4. The standard time for TCA is 8.45pm, just outside the Famous Grouse, you may queue at this control 5. There will be a drivers briefing at the signing-on area at 8:15pm. All drivers must attend. 6. 7. The Finish Control will be inside the Famous Grouse were supper will be available. Please hand in your Time Card and Damage Declaration here. There will be no penalty for being early at this Control. 8. In order that all competing cars can be accounted for at the end of the Rally, any competitors who find themselves unable to report to the Rugby Club, for whatever reason, should contact Simon Fullerton on 07745 891227 immediately. A completed Damage Declaration must then be forwarded within 72 hours of the finish of the event. 9. Please bear in mind that other road users have every right to be on the road! Do not block roads, sit with headlights on at Controls or otherwise create ill-feeling. A little consideration for other road users will not affect your enjoyment of the event. 10.
