Practice to begin as soon as homologation is completed, which could be earlier or later than 11:00 hrs. Time Sunday, August 2 FED Order Minutes of Training 7:00 ARG 60 AUT 50 BEL 65 CHI 60 CZE 60 FIN 25 FRA 45 GBR 75 GRE 60 ITA 70 MEX 60 SWI 70 USA 90 21:00 End of training Time Monday, August 3 FED Order Minutes of Training 7:00 AUS 70 FRA 60 NZE 60 RUS 60 SPA 65 SWE 50 CAN 85 USA 60 16:00 End of training IMPORTANT NOTE: The site is the under control of the Chief Judge and any homologation needs will take precedence. Federations may utilize their training time for slalom, tricks or jump at their discretion, recognizing that the boat drivers will be instructed to cease pulling at the end of the Federation s allotment. The cost for each 5:00 minute block is $50.00 CAD, and must be paid in cash on-site ($50.00 CAD or $40.00 USD accepted) by the team manager one day before the training day. This means all Saturday teams must pay by 18:00 on July 31, all Sunday teams by 18:00 on August 1, etc. A training cashier and a location will be assigned for each day where the managers/coaches can make the payments. Lake 2 Training Slalom and trick training time (no jump) on adjacent Lake 2 will also be available on August 1 to 3, to be scheduled closer to the start of the event. Training time on these days will be allocated using the following principles:
1. Must be requested by the Federation by July 25, 2009. Requests are to be made to Todd Johnson via email at Todd_r_johnson@transcanada.com or telephone 1-403-920-2070. 2. Only Federations not scheduled on Lake 1 on that day will be eligible for time on Lake 2. For example, if Argentina has official practise on Saturday on Lake 1, they can request time on Lake 2 on Sunday or Monday (but not both Sunday and Monday, see rule 2). 3. A Federation (and its independents) can request ski time on Lake 2, but only on one day, and this must be a day that they are not scheduled on Lake 1. 4. First priority for training on Lake 2 will be for athletes/event series that are scheduled to compete on this lake. This will not be known until the final competition schedule is released and we know exactly how many events will be run on Lake 2. 5. A Lake 2 training schedule for Saturday, August 1 will be made available based on the best information available on Friday, July 31 by 12:00 noon. The same prices as Lake 1 will apply. Payment for teams that have time on each day will be required by 18:00 on the day before. All training will utilize the tournament boats. Qualified drivers will be provided. If a Federation desires more training time on August 1 3, off-site training should be sought (see Bulletin #1 for alternate training sites). Organizers have also secured an additional training site. A man-made lake 30 minutes from the host hotel or Tournament site will be available for training from July 29 to August 8. Slalom and trick training (no jump) can be accommodated behind a 2009 MasterCraft. Cost is $300 per hour. Arrangements are to be made through Todd Johnson via email at Todd_r_johnson@transcanada.com or telephone 1-403-920-2070. OFFICIAL HOTEL: The official hotel, the Delta South Calgary, is now full.
