BATTLE OF BOSTON HOCKEY SHOWCASE! Boston, May 7 May 13, 2019 European male players born 1999 2003 This trip is an outstanding athletic educational experience. Players are given firsthand information regarding what the requirements are to play College and Junior hockey in North America. This experience and information will guide you in making the decision as to where you may choose to pursue your next step in your future hockey career. We strive to make sure that players understand what their opportunities may be! Spaces are open to all European players, but spaces are limited so register early. We will bring 3 teams with us this year with a maximum of 27 forwards, 18 defenders and 6 goalies. Making sure that everyone gets a lot of playing time and exposure. The trip does not only consist of playing in the Battle of Boston Tournament. We will arrive early to give you the opportunity to visit Colleges and/or Prep Schools, listen to interesting lectures from NHL and NCAA players. There is a minimum of 1 practice and 1 exhibition game and a guarantee of 3 games minimum in the tournament. Many of the players who have attended the Showcase in the past have had offers from NCAA schools as well as USHL, NAHL, NCDC, EHL, USPHL, AJHL, WSHL Tier III and prep school programs. Two former alumni have also been drafted and are currently playing in the NHL. *****
INFORMATION The investment for the trip is SEK 12 500. A non refundable deposit of SEK 1 000 is paid at time of registration and the rest is invoiced 8 weeks prior to the trip and must be paid in full before arrival in Boston. If payment has not been received the player will not be able to play in the tournament. Players looking to arrive earlier and or staying later may do so on their own expense. BEANTOWN CLASSIC WOMENS HOCKEY SHOWCASE! Boston, July 23-29 13, 2019 Female players born 1999 2003 This trip is an outstanding athletic educational experience. Players are given firsthand information regarding what the requirements are to play College and Prep Hockey in North America. This experience and information will guide you in making the decision as to where you may choose to pursue your next step in your future hockey career. We will bring a maximum of 2 teams with us this year with a maximum of 18 forwards, 12 defenders and 4 goalies. Making sure that everyone gets a lot of playing time and exposure. The trip does not only consist of playing in the Beantown Classic Tournament. We will arrive early to give you the opportunity to experience life at a college. We will stay in dorms at Plymouth State University, NH and practice and scrimmage at their facilities. This is a great opportunity to experience what life is like at a college. SCANDINAVIAN HOCKEY SHOWCASE! Stockholm, May 31 June 1, 2019 Male players born 1999 2002 This Showcase is an outstanding athletic educational experience. Players are given firsthand information regarding what the requirements are to play College and Prep Hockey in North America. This experience and information will guide you in making the decision as to where you may choose to pursue your next step in your future hockey career. We strive to make sure that players understand what their opportunities may be! There will be coaches from NCAA, ACHA, Junior and Prep School teams who will attend. ***** INFORMATION The investment for the Showcase is SEK 3 695. A non refundable deposit of SEK 1 000 is paid at time of registration and the rest is invoiced 4 weeks prior to the Showcase and must be paid in full before the start of the Showcase. If payment has not been received the player will not be able to play in the Showcase. This is included in the fee: Approx. 7 hours on-ice (practice and games) under the guidance of US and Swedish coaches. Seminar with Bluechip and the coaches about studying and playing hockey in the US. Learn about the different paths and how to reach the highest level of College hockey. Personal evaluation of your opportunities to play in the US with staff from Bluechip and GHC. The Showcase will be filmed, and a highlight video will be used for players who sign up with Bluechip before or after the Showcase. Lunch and afternoon snack Saturday and Sunday for all players. Transportation from and to Arlanda airport for players arriving on May 31st and departing June 2 nd or June 3 rd.
Housing/Hotel: For those coming from overseas or outside of the Stockholm area we have made arrangements for you to stay right next to Vilundahallen Ice Rink at Scandic Upplands Väsby. You may call them and let them know that you are participating at the Showcase and you will get a special rate including a very nice breakfast. You will be given a practice/game jersey to wear. Bring sharp skates (there will an opportunity to sharpen them at Vilunda, but make sure you bring them ready to go).
