He currently ranks seventh in SoCon history in three-pointers made. Furman s game Wednesday night versus Davidson at the Bi-Lo Center marks the Paladins first game in downtown Greenville since losing to Appalachian State 58-56 on March 1, 2001, in the Southern Conference Tournament. After beginning the season just 1-for-15 from three-point range, guard Robby Bostain has connected on 6-of-11 treys in Furman s last three contests. Georgia Southern Donte Gennie scored his 1,000 th career point vs. Furman, becoming the 17 th player since GSU joined Division I to achieve that honor. He tied his career high of 22 points against Pikeville, and came up just shy of that his next time out against Furman. Prior to that streak ending, he hit a career-high seven treys vs. Pikeville. UNC Greensboro UNCG won at Elon for just the second time in 11 trips to Burlington. Hines has scored in double figures in 36 straight games, breaking Ricky Hickman s school record set last year. In that streak, he has gone for 20 or more points 18 times. He was last held to single digits back on Dec. 16, 2005 while playing limited minutes against Greensboro College.
