L.A. is unbeaten in its last seven series (6-0-1), has won 17 of its last 23 games since May 17 and are 7-2 in the month of June. Despite losing a little ground on the off day, the Dodgers are alone in second place, 3.0 games behind the first-place Diamondbacks. Following the two-game series with Texas, the club will host their division rivals, the Giants, for a threegame set this weekend before heading back out on the road next week to Chicago (June 18-20) and New York (June 22-24). The Dodgers are 12-11 all-time against the Texas Rangers, including a 5-5 mark in Los Angeles. The teams are facing off for the first time since 2015 and these two short series mark the 10 th and 11 th all-time Interleague series between the two clubs (1997-twice, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2009, 2015-twice). Despite the 16-18 overall record at home this season, the Dodgers have picked it up at the Ravine as of late, as they have won eight of their last 12 contests at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers have gone 175-181 all-time in Interleague play, but have a 101-75 record against American League teams at Dodger Stadium. This year, the club has already split a pair of games with Oakland at Dodger Stadium and last season the Dodgers worked the American League, going 16-4 overall and 9-1 at Chavez Ravine. The Dodgers haven t posted a losing season against the American League since 2012 (6-9). EYES ON THE PRIZE: The Dodgers have not spent a day in first place this season, but the numbers show they belong with the best.
