UNDER 11 s Our U11 s travelled to Tom Creedon Park on Sunday to take on hosts Macroom. The training the lads have been doing over the last number of weeks at the ball wall was put to good practice as they played some great football given it was their first outing of the season and the tough underfoot condition. We played two teams and both emerged victorious following very competitive games. Training on Tuesday evenings will commence in Brinny shortly and we look forward to an enjoyable and successful season with a great bunch of lads. Players: Billy Curtin, Samuel Linehan, Matthew Kelleher, Sean T. Kenneally, Luke Casey, Sam Browne, Shane Page 3 of 6

The premier 1's who started the campaign at home to Na Piarsaig, Valley rovers were strong from the start showing some good skills all over the pitch. This proved enough to take a first home win. The C3's were away on Sunday to a strong Nemo rangers side, this was a tough game with some excellent battles all over the pitch but in the end it was Nemo Rangers who were victorious. With two games over the weekend, this meant certain lads were involved in the two games, Great commitment is shown by these lads and parents to be at both games. Next round of rebel og games in two weeks time, training continues this Thursday with challenge games planned for this coming weekend. Valleys U16 Premier 2 UNDER 16 s Valleys U16 Premier 2 footballers got their season off to a winning start with a well-deserved victory over Midleton on Saturday in Brinny. Three quick points from Brian Hoey, Ronan O Connell and denial Lynch settled the team well. Midleton went through for goal but for some excellent defending from Darragh Keane and an outstanding save from Denny Kiely things could have been different. Goals from Jack Hurley and Aaron O Leary had valleys leading at half time 2-8 to 0-1. Valleys kept up the pressure in the second half with full forward Cian Crowley off-loading to the oncoming players which resulted in points from Brian McCarthy, Adam Walsh Murphy and Darragh O Shea. Valleys ran out winners 5-16 to 2-5.
