For the 10u age group we had 17 players register and the league says that 14 is the max. 3 kids could move down to 9U, one will and the other two said no. There are 24 instructional players 3. Ref training is on Sunday 4. We may have a whole new way to do fields and goal depending on what the league decides. If that happens we would need 6 x4 goals. We could get a grant from 5 points for $500. We could also cut down one of the other goals to make it work, that would cost $150.00 5. Working on new uniforms 1. Had 24 this year. They were not able to have a youth night at a high school game. 2. Sarah had a hard time with fundraising and parent participation No report 1. Jaime and Geri worked on a spread sheet to track the profit margins. 2. There is a coach that says he may be able to get JTM s donated 1. Could we send out a letter from school with directions to go to our website and fill out a form. This way we could see who is actually serious and has kids in the age group who would play. 3. We need to find new umpires 4. Sarah would like to do a sports awards banquet for our WJAA kids. 1 st week of August for spring sports 1 st week of December for fall sports and sometime in March for winter sports 5. Appreciation dinner/blowout for past board members, coaches, parents, etc. Do it in our field, sell beer, hire a band, speakers, food trucks. August 4 th 6. We still need a grill or griddle for the concession stand 7. We are possibly missing out on some money by not hosting more tournaments, but what would be the incentive for the Rep to have it and the extra work? Each sport could do their normal tournament that would go to WJAA. After that maybe if an individual team wants to host a tournament WJAA gets concession and maybe a percentage? Reminder for upcoming tasks Shane will talk to Allstar about board member shirts Jeff will call about signs for the batting cages
