An afternoon Recital is held for the young students, an early evening Recital is held for students through third grade and our older students dance in an evening Recital. The Recital is optional, but we encourage all our students to participate. A walk thru rehearsal is held on the same morning as the Recital. COSTUME FEE Recital costumes range in price from $65 to $120. Because costumes require up to 18 weeks for delivery, we ask that parents come to the studio in early January to measure their dancer, order and pay for costumes. We cannot, under any circumstances, make refunds for ordered costumes. RECITAL FEE A $65.00 per dancer recital fee is collected in March. Recital fee is used to help offset the expenses associated with the Performing Arts Center, union stage hands, technical crews, ushers, programs and scenery. If you volunteer to be a stage mom, you pay only $50 for your student s recital fee. We need two stage moms per class to help with walk-thru rehearsal and recital. Recital Fee is used instead of selling tickets. PHOTOGRAPHS A photographer comes to the studio in late April to take individual and group pictures. Purchase of the photographs is strictly optional and payment is made directly to the photographer on the day of pictures. RECITAL VIDEO Each year, Miss Shelly s hires a video production firm to video the Recital. Purchase of the video is strictly optional and payment is made directly to the video production company.
