My monthly message has stressed the importance of the dinner as the main fundraiser for the chapter and many folks have spent considerable time soliciting gifts from local merchants, crafts people and those with services to offer. A lot of time and energy goes into the fundraiser. Please attend and show your support, it will be greatly appreciated The dinner is also importantly about Trout Unlimited, a chance to talk about projects we've completed or something which needs to be addressed in the future. It's also having fun and connecting with old friends and meeting new folks. Talk about a favorite fishing run on a local river or a new fly you've tied and wanting to try this spring. Also there are many raffle items to take a chance at, a new rocker for those winter evenings, or a new fly rod and reel to take on a favorite trip. Lots of fun to be had by all. Everyone's a winner because the proceeds go to the chapter which fund the great projects we have been involved with. Looking forward to seeing everyone there. Aex Hackman will be the evening s speaker. Alex works for the Massachusetts Division of Ecological Restoration (DER) and he was the project manager for the Millie Turner dam removal project. Alex will discuss that project and others that DER is involved in. See you Saturday! Michael Rosser Chapter website www.squanatissit.org - 2 -
