Kids who have mastered skills in class are asked to be part of an Enrichment group. Mrs. Kehler has found time for two periods a cycle in her schedule to have these students work with her to find out more about topics that are related to class. The students use research skills to gather information on a topic and then present it to others sharing their knowledge. This happens for grade 1-3 presently. As many as ten students from each grade participate in this. Some of the topics researched are ants and the value they have to humans, the Lake Texcoco in Mexico. York Haven PTO Bingo had a wonderful night (despite the weather) recently. Families came out to play bingo and have fun with friends. There were door prizes on top of the regular bingo winnings handed out this evening and everyone went home with a prize. 2nd graders at Mt. Wolf Elementary had fun and learned a lot during the Byrnes Health Education Center's lesson, Way to Grow. Students learned about how their digestive system works and healthy eating choices to keep their bodies working efficiently.
Wake Up with AR! Mt. Wolf Elementary School's 1st-3rd graders can come to school early one day each month to get some extra reading practice and take a few Accelerated Reader (AR) quizzes. Thanks to the PTO volunteers who keep this event running smoothly. Reading is the BEST way to start the day! Each month two seniors are selected who best personify these qualities.

Instead of teaching children art she is teaching adults (teachers from NESD) after school. Keri works with adults in small groups and teaches them basics and they all have a great time doing it as well as making great art.
