Brackets will be set as Gold and Silver (3 games guaranteed). The bracket will be published on the APS Athletic Department website at www.aps.edu/athletics by Wednesday Sept. 11, 12:00pm. Bracket will be added as an attachment to general Volleyball: Metro Championships Dated 9/10, 9/12, and 9/13) and updated each day as an attachment. Game Balls: Pool Play: Line Persons: Provided by the APS Athletic Department and will be made available at High School Sites by the Site Director/Gym Master. Each pool play match will be two (2) games of 21 points (cap 25 max.). Proceed to the next match immediately after the prior match. Seeding to brackets criteria: Win-Loss Record Tie Breakers in order of priority Winner of head-to-head competition Point differential in head-to-head play Point differential in pool play Coin flip Each team will provide one Line Person for each match. Libero Tracker: Each team will provide their own Libero Tracker. Pool Play: Team listed first on APS schedule calendar will provide tracker for sessions. Bracket Play: Home team will provide tracker for match. Support Personnel: Official Scorebook: Athletic Trainer: Officials: Player Intros: Hospitality Room: Awards: Allocated as per volleyball event management information as set by the APS Athletic Department. Scorebooks and Scorekeepers will be provided by the APS Athletic Department and the host site. An athletic trainer will be available during each session. Site coverage is assigned by the APS Athletic Department. Each match will be assigned officials from the New Mexico Officials Association. For the Championship Finals all players on the roster and coaches will be announced prior to the start of the championship games. Hospitality room for all coaches, officials and administrators will be provided at Volcano Vista on Saturday from 2:00pm until the start of championship match. Food and drinks will be provided by Twister s and Pepsi. Location will be posted at site. Participation awards will be given to each team at their pool play games. Albuquerque Metro Championship Traveling Trophy will be awarded to the champion immediately following the championship game. Blue Championship T-shirts will also be awarded to winning team following the championship game.
Award Presentation: The award presentation will take place immediately after the completion of the championship game. It is the expectation of the APS Athletic Department that both teams and coaches will remain in the bench area for the duration of the award presentation demonstrating the values of Compete With Class and the APS Athletic and Activity Code of Conduct.
