Saturday July 25 th 9:00 am to 3:00 pm: Driver check in and boat inspection. Controlled open water all classes. 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm: Controlled open water for classes running on Sunday only. Sunday July 26 th : US-1 Heat Racing Begins 8:30 am Heat racing begins for: 20-Tunnel, 12-20-Mono, 45-Tunnel, 29-45 Hydro, 67-Tunnel, 67-Mono, 90-Tunnel, and 90-Hydro. Controlled open water for classes running on Monday only. Performance Model Boat Club s lake is located at 8809 Lake Road in Seville, Ohio 44273 inside the Chippewa Valley Campground. Camp sites range from full hook-up to tent only sites and are available by calling 330-769-2090. (a limited number of sites have been reserved for this event, so call early). THE CAMPGROUND DOES NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS (CASH ONLY). Directions: Our club lake is off of Interstate 71. Merge onto US-224 W via EXIT 209 toward Lodi. Turn right onto County Road 19 (Lake Road). The driveway is about 1/8 th mile on the right (8809 Lake Road). Follow the driveway all the way back around the lake and the camping area. Our lake is surveyed; records will be possible. If this changes, it will be posted on our web site www.performancemodelboatclub.com and in the IMPBA Roostertail. Event and Race Rules Clock will start for upcoming heats as soon as all previous race boats are in or the retrieval boat returns to shore. Digital Clock. REGISTRATION DEADLINE CUTOFF is July 17th. (Entries in hand will get first priority) E-Mail entries will be accepted if received before July 17 th and payment is received before: July 21 st. All IMPBA rules apply. You must accept collect phone calls about frequency conflicts. You will be notified by e-mail first, if no response, you will be contacted by phone. IMPBA cards MUST to be shown upon driver check-in. APBA & NAMBA members welcome with a $10.00, one time entry fee. (please send a copy of your membership card with your entry form) All transmitters will be impounded and an alternate frequency is required for each boat entered. Your name MUST be clearly visible on your radio. No motors will be started prior to 8:00 am. US-1 Classes: there will be a no boat max limit with the top 5 boats or 20% of class will qualify for the Trophy Trials. A minimum of eight boats are required to make the US-1 classes which will run five rounds. US-1 heats and trials will be completed before special event classes run. You may have a different CD for each class but each Class with have the same assigned CD for all your heats. Final decision will be made by the Host CD. Races maybe recorded. We have a no mistake starting line. If the CD sees your boat when the clock hits zero your over. Special Event Classes (Minimum 6 boats to make a class with classes limited to 24 Boats, except Novice) Special Event Classes will run five rounds. (Weather and time permitting). Events not finished on the designated day will be finished the following day. 20 Sport Tunnel: Hulls per IMPBA rules. Thunderboat: Per IMPBA Rules LS27 Cat LS27 Sport Hydro NOVICE CLASS Minimum of 3 boats to make a class. Heats will be 5 minute enduro with total complete laps counted.. Novice drivers only pay for the 20.00 banquet ticket. No other race fees. Novice: Must be IMPBA members. May race any type of hull, including RTR except outrigger. Motor size 21.cc and under. Novice Driver may not race in any other class.
2009 IMPBA INTERNATS ENTRY FORM Performance Model Boat Club does not own the lake and area, so there will be a 20.00 charge to the campground for the whole event per person (does not include camping fees).
