RUMBLINGS AROUND THE FLYWHEEL Sean Evans reports that the Centennial Bill regarding Route 66 has now passed the House, but needs approval by the Senate and White House. Sean also noted that the Arizona sales of the custom Route 66 license plates has not only been greater than any of the other Arizona custom plates but has outsold all the custom plates in the country! Juergen Burmeister will not only raffle off the warming blanket and pillow at the next General Meeting, but also a mystery gift apparently made up of automotive parts. PAGE 6 CLUB CRUISE TO THE TRAIN MUSEUM AND TO THE JOY CONE FACTORY Saturday March 16th This very special event will start at 11:30 with the staging of our cars in the Walmart parking lot directly behind Freddie's Restaurant. Wheels off at 11:45 Sharp. We will caravan down Route 89 to Fort Tuthill and assemble at Bldg. xx, the Train Museum,at 12:00 Noon, for a private tour. Club member Curtis Deibel will be one of the docents presenting the tour. At 12:50 we will travel across Hwy 17 to the Joy Cone Factory. Here again we will have a private tour of the factory, presented by club member Adrianna Penhaker! Afterwards we will enjoy an ice cream treat. As this tour is done in an operating food manufacturing faculty, some special rules need to be observed. Please see the next page for their operating rules so you are not surprised at the factory..
