Conditions All events will be run in accordance with PCAQ Sporting Rules 2016. Horses must be correctly saddled and competitors must wear approved helmets and riding boots at ALL times. The Technical Delegate, Judge in Chief, together with the organiser, reserves the right to alter, amend or delete any part of the programme if circumstances present. Competitors may exercise their horse in the area provided. Horses may be schooled or exercised only by their nominated rider on the day of the competition. Riders disregarding this rule may incur disqualification from the event. Teams will compete as a unit, entering and leaving the competition area together. Each event will be judged individually and/or as a Team with each rider acknowledging the judge when it is his/her turn to compete. Teams of three (3) riders will be accepted. All three (3) scores to count. A team of three (3) riders may beat a team of four. A Team in 17 & Over may only comprise two (2) Senior riders. Teams should be formed from one (1) Zone from a State. Composite Zone Teams will be accepted provided riders requesting to form part of a composite team have contacted their own Zone first to ensure they are not required. Because of the difficulty sometimes encountered in all nominated members of a team being able to compete, suitably substitute team members will be accepted if notified by the overall Team Manager before the competition commences. In the event of equality, the winning team will be the one with the most wins, if still equal, the most seconds and if still equal, the most thirds. Mounted Presentation Competitors must be present to receive awards. Permission is required from the Technical Delegate or Chief Judge to leave before presentation. Events to be electronically timed, where possible. Teams will compete as per published draw. Protests must be in writing within 30 minutes of the incident, accompanied by $50. Only the owner, this authorized agent, or the rider of the horse taking part in the competition is entitled to lodge a protest. Disputes committee to consist of the Technical Delegate, Chief Judge and One Judge. Horses must be ridden at a walk at all times when not competing. This includes the car park areas. Horse Health Declaration forms must be filled out and handed in at the secretary s box on the day by Zone Manager. Reservation of right The Organisers reserve the right: (a) to cancel any class or event (b) to divide any class (c) to alter the advertised times (d) to refuse any entry, with or without stating the reason (e) to transfer competitors between sections of a class (f) to combine classes if less than 3 competitors BIOSECURITY In the event of horse movement restrictions, each participant will be responsible for the care, maintenance and cost of their horse/horses. Including and not limited to feeding, watering and vet cost for the time of the restrictions.
