Huang, Senior Planner and Principal - Urban Systems, provided a PowerPoint Presentation summarizing the Parks, Recreation and Culture Master Plan Stage 4 Final Plan. The presentation included an opportunity for input and dialogue around the preliminary findings received from the community. The Parks, Recreation and Culture Master Plan Stage 4 Final Plan will be going to Council in June, for approval. Moved by B. Bansal, seconded by N. Bergen, that the PowerPoint Presentation provided by the Director, Recreation and Culture, and D. Huang, Senior Planner - Urban Systems, regarding Parks, Recreation and Culture Master Plan Stage 4 Final Plan, be received for information. PRC 014-2018 CARRIED. 7. NEW BUSINESS.1 Correspondence from the Twisters Gymnastics Board of Directors and Organizing Team The Chair read out a thank you note from the Twister Gymnastics Board of Director and Organizing team thanking the City of Abbotsford for their amazing contribution to the Twisters Invitational, which brings over 900 athletes and 150 coaches and judges to the event..2 Information Updates; Newspaper Articles regarding; Clearbrook Park, Master Plan, Ledgeview, and Pro-Basketball The Chair shared the recent newspaper articles from Friday, May 4, 2018, Abbotsford News regarding, Clearbrook Park - Urban Oasis, MasterPlan Downhill Longboard Course, Ledgeview Clubhouse City files lawsuit, and the Professional Basketball coming to Abbotsford Centre..3 Matsqui Fire Hall Public Art Celebration An invitation flyer was given to the Parks, Recreation and Culture Committee Members to attend the Mastqui Fire Hall #4 Public Art Celebration on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Page 3 of 5
