The club will be open after the race so also a great opportunity to come back for drinks and a meal after the race. 2015 O'pen Bic Worlds Up Date Begining Sunday 27th Dec This Article was reported on Sail World. 2015 O'pen Bic class Pre Worlds Regatta ready to roll by AOBCA Association 2015 O'pen Bic class Pre Worlds Regatta - This weekend sees the start of the O'pen Bic class Pre Worlds Regatta at Safety Beach Sailing Club. This event is the lead up event to the 2015 World O'pen Cup, the first time it will be held in the southern hemisphere for this very exciting ISAF Junior skiff. This weekend s event will see over 70 competitors take to the waters off Safety Beach, located on Port Philip Bay south of Melbourne. Many of the overseas competitors have arrived from GER, CZE, NZL, JPN, FRA. With the support of Bic Australia all the overseas competitors are able to charter a new boat for the event among the competitors it reads as the 'who is who' of the class with current World Champions, European Champions and both state and National Champions taking part across three age divisions U13.U16 and U19. With already 122 Competitors entered for the World O'pen Cup starting on Dec 27th excitement is building with the support of Forward Sailing,Optimum Time and OTB Marine its looking at the best event ever down under.
