What an amazing month we have had! Besides all the Fun in the Sun competitions, there have also been many other activities. Fun in the Sun Raft Races! Open Mike Night is growing in leaps and bounds, and we are finding more and more talent at Natures! If you haven't been to an open mike night, you might want to come out to the next one on Thursday, March 2nd. A table service Valentine's breakfast! What could be better than that? Many thanks to Steve, Julie, Greg and Rainy and all their helpers for a well organized and great start to a busy Valentine's day! Breakfast Table Service Style! We also had a Valentine's Dance hosted by Rick & Margie, who, with their helpers, decoratedd the clubhouse for the occasion. Music was provided by our very own DJ Steve. Thanks to all who helped make this such an enjoyable evening.

Decorating the Clubhouse Once again Ruthi created Valentine videos for everyone who gave her photos, compiling them into a delightful show for all of us to watch. It is always fun to see what people looked like when they were growing up as well as getting some insight into what hobbies and activities people enjoy outside of Natures. Many thanks to Ruthi for the time and effort that she puts into this project. I have never, ever seen such HUGE potatoes! They looked like small footballs! As a fund raiser, Steve & Julie and Greg & Rainy made baked potatoes with all the fixings. What an amazing meal - or rather, meals, as many took half home for a second meal! Making Fixings for the Potato Bar Potato or Football? Daddy D-Three show was well attended and a huge success. Definitely a nice change of pace. Their music reminded us of some of the "good 'ol times" and it was a very entertaining evening. Jack and Jane invited everyone to an afternoon of entertainment by Terry Smith & Friends as a celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary. Besides the great music, we also enjoyed a delicious selection of snacks. Congratulations Jack & Jane. We look forward to celebrating your 60th with you! The weather was perfect for a Luau Street Party. The bottom of the 300 block was closed off, decorations were hung, tons of chicken was cooked, salads were made, games were organized, and

DJ Steve provided a good variety of music. People brought snacks to share, their drinks and chairs, and a great time was had by all. Thank you to the many people who helped make this such a fun event and congratulations to the winners of the various games! involved in various activities outside of the park, they found it more convenient to move to a textile park. However, they maintained their Natures' membership and remained a part of our family as they continued to attend activities in our park. Pam was a fun loving spirit, full of life, energy and happiness. We will surely miss the presence of a bright, cheerful, lovable and kind person. We extend our sincere and heartfelt condolences to Tony and their family. Another Successful Fun in the Sun! Luau Fun with Food, Winning Hats & Hula Hoop It's hard to believe that Fun in the Sun is over! The weather cooperated, and most of the outdoor events enjoyed a perfect day. The Petanque players would have preferred a few more clouds in the sky, and ladder toss participants would have liked more sun! The pool events and blind golf cart races were enjoyed by both participants and spectators in perfect weather. The competitions were fierce, but a fun atmosphere prevailed. Our thanks go to Tom, Lot 309, for organizing the entire event and to the coordinators of each event. Without them there would be no Fun in the Sun, so we are grateful to them for stepping up to the plate. That's all from me! I'm looking forward to all the fun stuff planned for March. I'm sure it is going to be purrrrrect! Condolences It is with a heavy heart that we inform our members that Pam, affectionately called 'Little Pam' or 'Pammie' passed away in February.
