Hi everyone, and welcome back to Shropshire for the Firefly Autotest, earlier this year, and are indebted to the Parton family for allowing us once again to use the vast concrete spaces at Hales Sawmills in Market Drayton. We have additional support from Euro Motorparts of Whitchurch. The event will as last year be a points scoring round in the BTRDA Clubmans Autotest /PCA Challenge; separate regulations are issued for this. It is intended for the tests to be dual purpose with changes alternating between the National B and Clubmans throughout the event. 1 Whitchurch Motor Club will organise a National B permit Autotest on Sunday April 17th 2016, at Hales Sawmills, Western Way, Market Drayton, Shropshire, TF9 3UY 2 The meeting will be governed by the General Regulations of the Motor Sports Association (incorporating the provisions of the International Sporting Code of FIA), these Supplementary Regulations, and any written instructions that the organising club may issue for the event. 3. MSA permit number 94614 1. The event is open to the following: British Trial & Rally Drivers Association Members of Whitchurch Motor Club Members of Herefordshire Motor Club Members of Knutsford & District Motor Club Registered contenders in the 2016 Link-Up Ltd MSA Autotest Championship Registered contenders in the2016 Demon Tweeks/ British Trial & Rally Drivers Association Autotest Championship Registered contenders in the 2016 NuCasa BTRDA Allrounders Championship Registered contenders in the 2016 ANWCC Autotest Championship. Registered contenders in the 2016 AWMMC Autotest Championship. 5. All competitors must produce a valid competition licence, club membership card, and where applicable, championship registration card. 6. The event will be a qualifying round of the 2016 Link-Up MSA Autotest Championship,2016 Demon Tweeks/ British Trial & Rally Drivers Association Autotest Championship,NuCasa BTRDA Allrounders Championship, ANWCC Autotest Championship, AWMMMC Autotest Championship. 7. The programme of the meeting will be as follows: Scrutineering starts at 8-30am. Any competitor not signed on at 10.00am may be excluded. First car starts at 10.30am. 8. The event will consist of 5 classes as follows: A - Saloon cars up to 11ft overall length. B - Saloon cars over 11ft. C Sports Cars and Sports Kit Cars. D - Specials. E Road Going Production Cars. All vehicles must comply with the MSA Technical Regulations. Cabriolet cars will run in the appropriate saloon car class with the roof raised or lowered. All lengths refer to the overall length which will be determined by the Parkers Car Guide (January 2016 edition), or by manufacturers specification. Sports Kit Cars eligible for class C will be as listed by BTRDA, further information available from Stuart Perren, Conifers, Cross Butts, Eccleshall, Staffordshire. ST21 6AX.

Awards will be presented as follows: Fastest time of the day the Firefly Trophy and replica (Firefly Trophy to be retained by the recipient for 11 months) First in each class an award Second in each class an award, subject to six entries in the class Third in each class an award, subject to ten entries in the class Best Novice an award Best Lady an award A Novice is defined as a competitor who has not won a class award on a National B or higher status Autotest. No competitor may win more than one award. 10. The entry list opens on publication of these SRs and closes finally on Tuesday 12 TH April 2016. All entries must be made on the official entry form and payment must be included. Note: NO entry will be accepted without prior payment The entry fee is 30.00p. Please check your entry form, as Final Instructions, and Results will be sent out by e- mail unless requested otherwise. 12. The maximum entry for the meeting is 50. The minimum is 15. The minimum for each class is 3. Should any of these minimum figures not be reached, the organisers have the right to either cancel the meeting or amalgamate classes as necessary. Entries will be selected in order of receipt. Starting order will be determined by ballot. Entry fees may be refunded at the organisers' discretion. 13. Provisional results will be published as soon as possible after the end of the event. 15. Any protest must be lodged in accordance with Blue Book Section C. Each driver will have at least two runs at each test to count for awards.
Timing will be by hand held digital stopwatch to 0.1 second. The starting signal will be own time. Order of attempting tests will be at the organiser s discretion. 17. Practising will not be allowed. 18. Competitors will be identified by numbers, which will be provided by the organisers. 19. Penalties for the main event will be: Line/Pylon: +5 seconds; Incorrect Test: fastest correct class time:- +20 seconds on individual tests 20. All other General Regulations of the MSA apply as written, except for the following, which are modified. M4.2 Pylons may be less than 1 metre high. M 17.1 M 13.4 M23 Vehicles need not be licensed for road use as the event takes place entirely on private land. A vehicle may be entered twice to be driven by different drivers, and the responsibility will be shared jointly by both entrants. Incorrect Tests - A test will be deemed to have been performed incorrectly if any line shown on the test diagrams is crossed with both leading wheels in the wrong direction or in the wrong order - which will include stop-astride and drive-through lines, and the manoeuvre is not corrected before crossing the finish line.
