This year I will have raffle tickets at first event after selling 40 required raffle tickets (amount $200.00) any raffle tickets sold after can be used in any way to help with your traveling fees for the MBR. A copy of applicant s birth certificate and proof of insurance card will need to be submitted with the membership application. We will not approve an application until we have a copy of the applicant s birth certificate and insurance card. PBR requires that all contestants have to have insurance. 7. Listed below later in the application will be our 2018 schedule for our season, but in order to qualify for the World Finals this season the member will have to compete in 4 out of 6 events. If we do only 5 events you can only miss 2 events, unless due to an injury, but have to provide MBR proof of Dr. Notes and the decision will be made between MBR owners. Please contact MBR about reason and with proof of reason an event could be excused for rider. After the 1 st event that is held by PBR if your rider doesn t sign up for the next event they will lose their membership spot and another kids application will be taken. Remember in order to qualify for finals so many events have to be attended. PBR 25 th Anniversary tour and other exhibitions that only require very few riders, doesn t count for points. 8. I send out text messages from a unique number or post on our Leal Miniature Bucking Bull FB page the flyer. Call In dates will be announced that way we will only take so many riders so make sure to call in early. I have created a new class to send text messages out, you can now reply back on the message, but you can text me at 806-685- 9797. In your text number box type 81010 and then in the message part write @2018mbr and it will add you to the class EVERYONE needs to do it because it s a NEW class, so if you did it last year you will have to do a new one. If you have problems let me know, all information goes out this way and I am not liable if you miss out on information. I will add each person when memberships come in, but if you don t add yourself or accept it we aren t liable for non-communication of the events. 9. Equipment is required to ride for the MBR, regardless of the rider s state law. Equipment: Helmet Mouth Piece Chaps (only equipment that rider has option we like for you to have, but if requires over weight they can go without) PBR Rowels/Spurs (see attached paper of the rowels) Vest Rope Bull Bell
10. Riders do receive bonus points if they place in the top 10 rounds, short go, and aggregate if there are no ties. I have attached a paper that shows the bonus points, below. Those will talked about at the first event meeting. 11. Payout will pay no more than 3 wholes at every event. 1 st - 50 %, 2 nd - 30 % and 3 rd - 20%. If its 14 riders or less we will only pay 2 wholes, which will be 1 st - 60% and 2 nd -40%. Depending on sponsors we could have added money: Example of payout: If we have 20 riders in each division it would be $1,600 total payout. We would divide the $1,600 by 2 and get $800.00 then divide that by 2 and get $400.00. So, we would pay $400.00 for each round and then $800.00 for aggregate. So for each round 1st would get $200.00, 2nd would get $120.00, and 3rd would $80.00. Aggregate would pay 1st $400.00, 2nd would get $240.00, and 3rd would get $160.00. If we have 14 riders in each division it would be $1,120.00 total payout. We would divide the $1,120 by 2 and get $560.00 then divide that by 2 and get $280.00. So we would pay $280.00 for each round and then $560.00 for aggregate. So, for each round 1st would get $168.00 and 2nd would get $112.00. Aggregate would pay 1st $336.00 and 2nd would get $224.00. This is just an example payout all depends on how many riders there is and if there are any ties. 12. We will weigh at the first event and then the middle of the year, MBR will allow a certain amount over, sometimes helmet is cause of weight being over, (usually up to 3 lbs.) and here is the weight limits for each division. Pee Wee weight limit is 100 lbs. (with gear) Junior s Weight limit is 120 lbs. (with gear) 12 and 13 years old weight limit is 130 lbs. (with gear) 14 years old weight limit is 120 lbs. (with gear) just due to the youth hitting a growth spurt usually at 14. Also, with height because we hear this majority of the time that riders look to big on the mini bulls, but we ask if you feel that you are too tall for the mini bulls please really consider about if you really want to join, due to bulls maybe not performing as well and score not being as high because of the stock being little. Child has to have ridden or participated in any bull riding clinic before they can ride for the Miniature Bull Riders, LLC. 13. Rule sheet is to be read and signed by parent and rider. You can find the rule sheet online at www.gombr.com under join the MBR. It s being updated right now, but will have it at each event. Will always let parents know if Rule Sheet has been updated throught out the year.
