In 2000, the tournament became an official PGA TOUR event. Host Organization: Copperhead Charities, a 501c3 consisting of 160+ area business and civic leaders throughout Tampa Bay, known as the Copperheads and the CopperMugs. Television: The four-day tournament has 15+ live and 55+ hours of total coverage from our broadcast partners at NBC and Golf Channel and is distributed to more than 225 countries. 3

COMMUNITY BENEFIT PGA TOUR tournaments have always been about more than just golf. They are community events generating positive economic impact and worldwide exposure for their region, and raising substantial sums of money to benefit charity. Sponsors are promoted as a catalyst for generating significant charity donations for worthy organizations within our tournament markets. GIVING BACK In 2017, the tournament helped to generate charitable contributions of more than $2.4 million to more than 50 Tampa Bay area charities. Major charitable partners include Habitat for Humanity, The First Tee and All Children s Hospital. Total charitable contributions are more than $38 million in the last 41 years. And the fact that it is a PGA TOUR championship makes it an even greater draw for visitors and locals alike.
