I hope that this year brings all the joy and happiness that you all deserve. I just can t believe that the year is over. I sit here wondering how long it is going to take me to stop writing 2011 on all my bills, statements and checks. Last year, I found myself still writing 2010 in June. This coming year looks to very promising. There are many great events planned for our future. The most anticipated of course is the visit from our Supreme Governor. We also have our elections coming quickly. I m sure that we are all looking forward to getting back to summer BBQ s, Fish Fries and the many, many events that we often have in the warmer weather. In the meantime we do have lots of special events planned until then, so come check out the Social Quarters, read your bulletins or just give us a call and see how you can help or participate. On a sad note, After 9 years our long time friend, co-worker and bartender Terry Woods has decided to move on to a different work opportunity. I would like to take this opportunity to personally express the love and appreciation that we all share for her. Terry has volunteered her time all these years and she will be missed greatly. Terry, Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to the lodge. It will take a long time to replace someone of your caliber. Once again, I would just like to say Happy New Year. May God bless you and yours. May all your dreams come true and may you know no sadness in your lives. Fraternally, Sean McCann 2

SICKNESS & DISTRESS: FROM THE SR. REGENT Our best wishes to Trustee Dave Blomeyer for a speedy recovery. Happy New Year everyone! I hope the New Year brings all that you desire. We had a great December. The Kids Christmas party was a lot of fun. Twenty three children joined us in welcoming Santa. It s hard to believe that my term as Senior Regent is almost over. We are starting to get together the Nominating committee and Election committee. If you are willing to help us select the next board of officers please let me know. I will be contacting many of you soon. We are having a breakfast on the 8 th and a dinner on the 27 th. Please remember to come in and support us. If we can get enough players we are going to play Minute to win it. Woody our Jr. Governor has volunteered to MC for us. We need volunteers to cook on the 8 th and on the 27 th so let me know if you can help us out. Beth will be cooking for Educational advancement on the 21 s.t She usually doesn t cook so this should be an event. Thank you Beth. Senior Regent Patie Jones FROM THE EDITOR: Our thanks to all the members who contribute their thoughts, ideas and happenings that help our members keep up with the activities of our lodge. What a Crew: Last month our bulletin was in the hands of our Fernley members on the 23rd of the month. This has to be an all time record. Everyone responded to the deadline (on time.) Our thanks to the following who folded, stapled, and labeled it for mailing: Earl, Woody, Mac, Chuckles, and Joe. Thanks guys!! Thanks to Randi Wasikowski for doing the shopping for the 23 children who attended our Kids Christmas Party on the 17th. Good job Randi! Thanks also to Frenchy for all his Monday night treats for us to munch on while the games were being played. Great job! Thanks to Walt Zawrotny for the new Moose Banners and for getting the one on the flag pole replaced. It was getting pretty tattered and the new one certainly looks great. Thanks Walt! COMMUNITY SERVICE Thanks to all of you who donated to our food and clothing drive for the holidays! You were fantastic. We are going to keep the barrels for a couple more months, and anything you can donate will be much appreciated by the needy in our own town. Remember any non perishable food and clothing that you outgrew, or you children or even great children outgrew, will be greatly appreciated. Keep up the good work. Respectfully, Joe Rigazio Community Service Chairman FROM THE ADMINISTRATOR: I didn t have much to say this month except thanks for all the support of everyone last year, and may this new year be filled with all the good thing that we wish for. We have a long way to go to outdo last year after winning the Premier Lodge Platinum award. It will take an all out effort of everyone and I m sure we can count on all our members to assist in accomplishing this goal. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> MISSING COMING SOON CA/NV Moose Association Mid Year Conference Atlantis Casino Resort March 22 25, 2010 L.
