QUICK LUBE CHAOS RULES: IDPA Rules COURSE DESIGNER: WaltProulx START POSITION: Standing at P1 centered up in front of the open hood feet pointing directly at the center of the car. Strong hand holding the dip stick with the tip touching the X mark on the fire wall. Weak hand holding the rag wrapped around the dip stick. Gun loaded to division capacity and holstered. SCENARIO: You are under the hood doing a final oil check on a customers car at your Quick Lube business when the Oil Can Hank gang from the competitor across the street start roughing up your clients. It gets way too serious when they pull guns, knives and wrenches. Save your clients, yourself and your place of lubrication excellence! PROCEDURE: At the signal draw and engage all targets from P1. You are in the open and exposed to T1 & T2 and must engage them first. Cover lines at either side of P1 are to be used for engagement of the remaining targets. S1 activates the drop turner T3. SCORING: Unlimited ROUND COUNT: 15 TARGETS: 08 DISTANCE: 5-10 YARDS SCORED HITS: 2 rounds each on T1-T8, steel must fall to score. PICNIC PANDEMONIUM RULES: IDPA Rules COURSE DESIGNER: WaltProulx START POSITION: Standing at SP with toes touching the line pointed directly at T2 with baby in backpack strapped to your back (shooter may adjust the straps during scoring of previous shooter). Arms outstretched straight toward T1-T3 wallet in strong hand and palm of weak hand facing T1-T3. Gun loaded to division capacity and holstered. SCENARIO: You are at a picnic in the park with your family when a gang of thugs invades your space in the shelter and begin to get violent even after you offer your wallet. Protect your infant and the rest of your family while moving through the picnic shelter. PROCEDURE: At the signal draw and engage all targets with 2 rounds and steel until down. T1- T3 must be engaged while retreating to P1. S1 activates T6. Backpack (baby) must remain on back throughout course of fire.s1 may be engaged from P1 only!! per IDPA rule regarding 10 yard distance for engaging steel. SCORING: Unlimited ROUND COUNT: 17 TARGETS: 08 DISTANCE: 2-10 yards SCORED HITS: 2 hits on paper, steel until down PENALTIES: Per current IDPA rulebook CONCEALMENT: Yes NOTES: Remind the squad that Steel must be engaged from 10 yards (P1) or more!!! STAY ALIVE FROM 9-5 RULES: IDPA Rules COURSE DESIGNER: WaltProulx START POSITION: Seated at the desk with all four fingers of each hand touching the letter keys and both thumbs touching the space bar. Gun loaded with 6 rounds only and placed into the drawer on the strong hand side. All reloads in the drawer on the weak hand side. SCENARIO: SCORING: Unlimited You are at your desk at work when the office is invaded by the cubicle raiders. ROUND COUNT: 13 Defend yourself and your co-workers. TARGETS: 04 PROCEDURE: At the signal retrieve your gun and engage all targets with 3 rounds each and DISTANCE: 7-10 yards steel until down. Strong hand desk drawer, weak hand desk drawer and stomp SCORED HITS: 3 per paper target, steel until down box each activate a dissapearing target. Steel activates a flip up threat target. All PENALTIES: Per current IDPA rulebook shots are to be taken while seated. T1 & T3 are peek-a-boo targets. T2 is a CONCEALMENT: No double drop turner. NOTES: Activator lines from desk must be run under the barricade. Gun loaded to division capacity and all reloads stowed in the tackle box with lid closed but not latched. SCENARIO: You and your buddy Thibodeaux are pulling up to the dock to buy bait from your friend Boudreaux when some backwater bad-guys attack you from behind pier pilings and from their pirogue boat. Save yourself, Thibodeaux and Boudreaux. PROCEDURE: At the signal pull the paddle to activate the double swinger (T1 & T2). Then retrieve gun from the tackle box, engage T1 - T5 with 2 rounds each popper until down and T6 with 4 rounds all in tactical priority. S1 activates both T5 (double drop turner) and T6 (swinger).
