Specie. The dove you will shoot is known as eared dove, a similar bird to the mourning dove that habit in US. This bird has a dark patch of feather on the side of the bird s upper cheek that looks like an ear, and that explain his name. This bird s hatch in between 3 to 5 times a year depending on the food. ACCOMMODATIONS The Lodge perfectly blends the charm of old-world Argentina with contemporary luxury, and offers 4-star amenities seldom found at hunting lodges. The Lodge sits on an immaculately-kept traditional estancia. This Estancia has been use as a hunting lodge for more than twenty years, and had won an amazing reputation for the confortable rooms and the traditional living room. The house, which has eight bedrooms and a capacity for 12 hunters, has recently been refurbished making it very comfortable and attractive. The lodge has nine well-appointed suites. There are five single suite rooms and three double-occupancy suites. There are 4 rooms with private bathrooms and 4 bedrooms sharing bathrooms as private apartments. THE FIELDS In the Northern Cordoba you will find out that 70% of the time we shoot in the hills. It is a very dry area with rocks and short hills, full of mid high bushes with thorns that make the terrain tough but not impossible. The 30% per cent of the times we shoot fields with crops or natural grass very easy to stalk. The birds normally leave the roosting area with the first light of the day. They fly average 40 to 60 miles for food. The fields shooting options, depending time of the year, are: Shooting the flyways: that means a point in between roosting area and feeding field. the fields: harvest crops, like soy bean, corn, or sorghum (specially march to may). feed lots: Birds concentrate for crops in big feed lots, and are great shooting options some times of the year (march to july). Water holes: Especially in summer time are great shooting options (October to april). Roosting areas: when the birds leave the main roosting area and stay in momentary roosting fields, we have the option to shoot them there with out affecting their main roosting place. During the hatching time you will see them flying both directions. 4

We shoot in the two most important doves roosting areas, the macha roost and cerro colorado roost. We also include in our list a average fifty thousand of hectares in the flat lands and specific water holes We are open all year round. We are ready any time. THE HUNTING The dove shooting program starts early in the morning, with a complete breakfast with eggs prepare as your preference. Your guide will show up for breakfast time and will talk with you about guns and shells for the shooting day. He will also give a safety speech the first day, and he will also assist with all accessories you could need. Around 8.00am you will depart with your group to the field. It will be in between 20 to 40 minutes drive. At your arrival, the field staff will be ready to take you to the shooting blind. It will be about 3 hours shooting before lunch time. The head guide will be available to assist and coach you with any require. They are experienced and qualify shooters, and are able to provide you with special recommendations to improve your accuracy. In our daily location, we set a tent, and we prepare famous Argentinean barbecue. You will enjoy our amazing meat cuts with well known special malbec from our country. After a great meal, depending time of the year, we will set hamacks for relax before the afternoon shooting program. At the evening, when everybody is done, we will be back to the lodge for appetizers and drinks. Personal field assistants, are average 30 years old and most of them have been working in the field for many years; you will notice it when you see them shooting. They work hard every day preparing your blind every time, and carrying shells, shotguns, drinks and stools to your spot. They are also responsible to clean the field shooting, picking up all birds. Schedules would change depending on the time of the year. 6
