THE TRIPOWER TIMES March 2015 Page 2 BUSINESS MEETING MINUTES CALL TO ORDER - WELCOME MEMBERS AND GUESTS: The February meeting was called to order at 7:05pm by President Jon Chevalier. There were 16 members in attendance. MEETING MINUTES: Jay Robinson stepped in for Ashlee as she was out with a family emergency, and he promptly announced that he forgot to bring minutes to read, and therefore none were read. TREASURER S REPORT: Mary Chevalier gave the treasurer s report, and we have some (more) money in the account. OLD BUSINESS: BYOC car show - Many aspects were discussed, and all members are asked (required) to get goody bag stuffers and a few door prizes. The show flyer is attached, all members are asked (required) to print out several copies and share with everyone they know! The annual Bowling Tournament is set for March 15. It will be at Sweetheart Lanes in Loveland at 12:30pm. It will be $12 for 3 games including shoes. Come out even if you are not bowling to support your club! The Benefit for Sara is March 21. A flyer is attached with this newsletter. Please plan on attending to show your club support for our member. NEW BUSINESS: A viewing of Stephen Tebo's private car collection is set for April 4th. We did this last year, and it is AMAZING! This is very rarely open to the public, so plan on attending this event! An exact head count (with names) is needed back to the club Secretary by March 16. Flyer attached. Jay brought it a new GTO coffee table book. It is for sale to the club members at 1/2 price, or $25. You can see about the book on Amazon.com, look for "Pontiac GTO 50 Years: The Original Muscle Car". If you want to purchase a copy, please contact Jay. He needs the money in advance, and will place one large order (no shipping fees this way). He would like to place the order by the end of March, so don't hesitate to get this great book at a much discounted price! Meeting adjourned at 7:43pm Sara picked out her own number - AGAIN - to win the 50/50 pot. RIGGED.. NEXT BUSINESS MEETING: The next Business Meeting will be held April 2nd at Johnson's Corner - dinner at 6pm, meeting at 7pm. (NOTE: We need more members not only showing up for the meetings, but ordering food as well. We get the room for free, as long as we continue to order meals by the majority of members in attendance). It was discussed to become a member of the Classic Car Council once again, so Jon and Mary are taking care of this process.

THE TRIPOWER TIMES March 2015 Page 6 ABOUT THE NORTHERN COLORADO GTO ASSOCIATION The Northern Colorado GTO Association was founded in 1984 with several objectives in mind. The primary objective is to HAVE FUN and to promote interest in the Pontiac GTO. With that in mind, we try to schedule at least one club event every month. These events may be car shows, picnics, club member attendance at car shows, sanctioned drag races, participation in charity events, Drive-In movie nights (Yes we still have a drive-in theater in Northern Colorado!) or any other event that involves people getting together to enjoy the fun of owning a true muscle car. DUES: $30.00 yearly for the entire household CLUB WEBSITE: http:// Follow us on Facebook! Group Name - "Northern Colorado GTO Association" (on electronic version of newsletter - control "click" to follow link for both website and Facebook site) The club business meetings are held the first Thursday of each Month Please see the minutes for the time and place of the next business meeting ABOUT THE GTO ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA The Northern Colorado GTO Association is an affiliated chapter of the GTO Association of America, and we encourage all of our members to become members of the GTOAA. As an affiliated chapter of the GTOAA, your club is supplied with a $3,000,000 liability insurance policy. This covers both Officers and Members while conducting approved Chapter events. When you become a member of the GTOAA, you get a monthly publication of the Golden Quill award winning magazine, THE LEGEND. This is a 32 page monthly magazine that contains technical articles, stories about members GTO's, a large classified section and much more information. The GTOAA hosts an annual National Convention where GTO enthusiasts can come together and see the vast diversity within this great organization. From the Technical Seminars to the Concours Judging to the Activities and Popular Vote Car Show, there is no other single GTO event like a GTOAA National Convention. No other Pontiac organization or publication does more to bring together the issues, ideas, needs and wants of GTO enthusiasts worldwide. Technical experts for each of the production years are available through GTOAA to answer those difficult questions we all have encountered while working or restoring our GTO's. The annual dues to join the GTOAA are $35.00 and $5.00 for each additional family member. To become a member of the GTOAA online, you can visit http://www.gtoaa.org.
