LIVE OAKS SCHOOL 575 Merwin Avenue Milford, CT 06460 Dear Live Oaks Families, Rose Marzinotto Principal rmarzinotto@milforded.org Phone: (203) 783-3564 FAX: (203) 783-3616 We are excited to announce that our school will be participating in the Bag It Up for Goodwill Challenge during the month of April. The challenge provides a great way for children to learn about responsible recycling by keeping unwanted items out of landfills and instead donating them to Goodwill and putting those items to work in the local community. We are asking our school community, family and friends to come together and donate gently used items they no longer need to a participating Goodwill location. The school with the most items donated in the month of April will win a private performance by American Idol Winner Nick Fradiani, $1,000 and cupcakes from NoRA Cupcake Company! Below you will find some additional details regarding the contest. GENERAL The Bag it up for Goodwill Challenge runs 4/1/2017 to 4/30/2017. Our closest location is Milford, 1712 Boston Post Road. When making a donation, inform the attendant that you are donating on behalf of LIVE OAKS SCHOOL. You will be given a slip to record school name, city and the number of items being donated OR you can bring in the slip attached to this letter. DONATIONS Items such as marbles/dominos are counted as a single item and not several individual items. Questions about what Goodwill accepts? Visit www.bagitupforgoodwill.org. DONATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT LIVE OAKS SCHOOL. Please bring donations directly to the Milford Goodwill! Last year s winning school donated 3,328 items. Our school community is strong, and we know we can collect enough items to win the grand prize this year!
