Brothers N Arms Class Descriptions and Information Zero shots fired - for Kids What would your kids do if they found a gun? I know your guns are locked up and safe in your home, but what about your kids friend s house, the playground or even school! How sure are you that your kids will do the right thing when you are not around? Zero shots fired - for Kids is a class taught for kid s to give parents the peace of mind you deserve. This one hour class has you in mind when we developed it. All our professional instructors have children and felt so strongly about this class that they have all volunteered their time to help achieve our goal of Zero Kids being shot by legally owned firearms. In this class parents and children alike will lean how to be safe around guns in your home or somewhere else. While the course is intended for younger children (ages 5-12), people of any age will enjoy the positive up beat class that covers such a serious topic in such a fun way. By the end you will have the confidence that your child will know how to react if they find a gun or if they are around someone who should not have a gun. Cost: FREE. Donations greatly appreciated. Proceeds benefit further expansion of our Educational Services. Requirements: suggested for grades K-6; attendance of parent/guardian Registration: In the store, online Walk-ins welcome Time: 1 hour* Handgun 101 If you are new to shooting, afraid of guns or have just been out of the sport for a while this is the class for you. No one wants to enter a class and feel talked down to. How many of you have head of or taken a firearms class only to feel like the instructor is bragging about how much better than you they are. We are here for one reason, to help you feel comfortable around guns. This is your class so it is taught in an open format where you are allowed and encouraged to ask any question throughout the class. During the class we will go over safe handling, loading, aiming, accessories and storage. After you feel confident handling a firearm in the classroom you will get time at the range with a friendly instructor that is there for you not to show off. By the end of the day you will leave the class with increased confidence when handling firearms. Cost: $70 Requirements: handgun**, minimum 50 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection. Registration: Online or in the store Time: 6 hours* ** Handgun rental available for an extra $25

Handgun 102 Handgun 101 leaves most students wanting to know what s next. Here it is! You will spend a significant amount of time on the range shooting and receiving instant constructive feedback. You will take what you learned in the first class and build upon that at the range. Again this class is all about you and what you want to work on. Each course of fire is designed to make you a more confident shooter. After a safety brief and a question answer period you will be accompanied by one or more instructors to help you with marksmanship, shooting positions, accuracy, loading and more. This class is tailored to you and skills you would like to improve upon. Come ready to go to the range to; Load, Shoot, Repeat! Cost: $90 Requirements: Handgun 101 or equivalent introductory class. Handgun** and 100+ rounds Registration: Online or in the store Time 6 hours* Women s 101 This is by far our most popular class which is taught by a woman (when available) who carries a firearm for a living. We know that firearms can be intimidating to anyone especially those who traditionally have limited exposure to them. This class is identical to our Handgun 101 but at the request of our customers we have limited this class to women only. With this class we do our best to take some of those fears away by making this a women s only environment. We have also implemented a female handgun instructor (when available) who not only teaches firearms but carries one for a living. Students in this class will gain familiarization with safe gun handling, the various types of handguns and long guns, how they function and shoot, safe firearms storage options, and basic marksmanship skills. Cost: $70 Requirements: handgun**, minimum 50 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection. Registration: Online or in the store Time 6 hours* ** Handgun rental available for an extra $25 Women s Only 102 Handgun 101 and Women s only 101 leave most students wanting to know what s next. Junior Rifle Safety We are looking for responsible young people who are interested in firearms. If that is you or your kids we would like to safely introduce them to firearms. Have you ever heard of primal learning? Primal learning is how our mind stores new information for the first time. When we learn a new skill for the first time we will take that as fact even if we know it to be wrong. This is why it is so important for our kids to learn how to properly handle and shoot firearms the first time. Once I found a professional instructor it took me longer than some to understand what they were teaching because of my own primal learning scars. Find out what you have been missing by having a professional firearms instructor start your kids off right. I found this to be especially true in math class. I know we are not talking about math but just like math once you get the basics correct the rest can be a lot easier. We designed this class with young people (ages 6+) in mind. Your children will learn about firearm safety, what to do if they find a gun or encounter someone who should not have a gun, how a variety of.22 rifles function, and basic marksmanship skills. All of this in a fun and safe environment that parents and kids will enjoy. Cost: $70 Requirements: Signed parental permission, (We provide ammunition and firearm (parents may shoot for $25 each). Registration: Online or in the store Time: 5 hours* Marksmanship 101 This is the next-level class for those who have taken a beginning-level firearms course. This class is based on the customer s needs; whether you are looking to become more proficient and develop a better understanding of your specific firearm, or want to improve your marksmanship skills with a firearm, or if you want to learn how to move and shoot, this class is for you. The class is meant to be one-on-one with a student and instructor but can just as readily be taught as a small class. Cost: $125 per student; $500 for a group. Requirements: firearm of the customer s choice, 50-100 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection. Registration: by appointment only Time: varies Concealed Carry Considerations Washington State has no firearms course requirement for issuing a concealed carry permit. This class comes highly recommended and teaches you how to safely conceal a handgun. The student will also learn how to shoot if children and/or other loved ones are around and what to do if you are ever involved in a shooting. Cost: $45 Requirements: Come with questions Registration: Online or in the store Time: 2 hours*

Utah Concealed Carry Brothers N Arms serves as the host for this course which is taught by the people at www.concealedheat.com. This class has many benefits when it comes to firearms. This class is required to legally carry in many states however it is not required to get your Washington State Concealed Carry Permit. We do recommend that everyone take some form of training prior to making the life choice to carry a firearm for protection.
