Relax and Enjoy A Fairway Pines Community Publication The Pines Press October 2017 Greetings, We have been busy at Fairway Pines with National Assisted Living Week and Active Aging Week. Both of these weeks gave us an opportunity to try new activities such as casino night, minute it to win, and chair yoga. Please see enclosed pictures of all the fun! Maria lives in Long Prairie and has two dogs. Maria Maria Johnson has two children and one grandchild. Gardening is Dietary Aide one of her favorite pastimes and hobbies. She enjoys shopping at Antique stores and watching antique shows. Please help us welcome Maria to Fairway Pines! Gary lives in Sauk Centre and has three children, one Gary Proell dog and two cats. Gary enjoys woodworking and Dietary Aide painting in his spare time. One of Gary s favorite places to have lunch is at Subway. Please help us welcome Gary to Fairway Pines! Alberta was born and raised in Sauk Centre. She grew up on a farm with two brothers and one sister. Alberta married Harold Otte and they made their home farming in Sauk Centre. They were blessed with five children. Two children have passed away and Harold passed away in 2002. She has 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. Alberta worked at the MN Correctional Facility in Sauk Centre for 31 years wearing many hats throughout her employment. Alberta loves to do anything outdoors.
