BELARUSIAN MODERN PENTATHLON FEDERATION INVITATION Dear Friends, The Belarusian Modern Pentathlon Federation (BFMP) has the pleasure invites a delegation of your country (4 men athletes, 4 women athletes, 2 officials) to participate in the EUROPEAN JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS 1723 June 2014 in Minsk, the Republic of Belarus. PRIZES 7 sets of medal will be presented: Individual (men and women), Team (men and women), Relay (men and women), Mixed Relay. TECHNICAL MEETING Attendance on the TM of the coaches or representatives of all participating teams is compulsory. A team unable to be present at the TM must inform the LOC at least 24 hours before the Technical Meeting in advance with the necessary data (name of the competitor, License ID number, results in swimming, pistol number, team member or individual, etc.) and delegate another nation or official to represent them. Teams not represented at the TM will not be allowed to start the competition. ECONOMICAL CONDITIONS All participants will be accommodated at 3 stars Yubileinyi Hotel. The price includes accommodation, full board, transportation from/to all events and from/to the National Airport Minsk or Minsk Railway Station or Minsk Bus Station. HOTEL*** Single room Double room (limited capacity) 120 100 The accreditation fee has to be paid in cash at the accreditation desk on arrival or via bank transfer to beginning of Technical Meeting. Nations wishing to arrange their own accommodation must pay EUR 100 accreditation fee per participant. The Organising Committee will provide lunch boxes for them for the competition days and allow access to official transportation between Headquarters hotel and competition venues. If you do not complete the information required prior to the deadline, then the Organising Committee will assume that your delegation is not participating. If, on arrival for the competition, the team has fewer athletes and/or officials than listed on their Final Entry Form C and without informing the Organising Committee at least 7 days prior to their arrival, the NF will pay a fine to the Organising Committee of 200 Euro for each person.
Following confirmation of the Final entries, a NF must enter the competition with at least one competitor. Any NF failing to take part after having sent their Final entries will pay a fine of 750 Euro to the Organising Committee. RULES The Competition will be held according to the UIPM Rules. Swimming: 50m indoor swimming pool / 8 lanes; Fencing: 10 pistes, 1 piste for Leader System Shooting: 36 laser precision targets will be used (2 laser targets in reserve) Riding: ground, grass Running: ground, grass ATHLETES LICENSES Athletes are only allowed to participate in UIPM sectioned events, if they are in possession of a valid UIPM issued Athletes License. Entry Forms will not be accepted, if any athlete is missing his/her License Number. Please contact immediately UIPM Headquarters, if your athlete is missing his/her License. If an athlete does not have a license and has not requested a license from UIPM, he/she will not be allowed to take part in the competition. TRAINING The Organising Committee will provide training facilities for swimming and running if needed. EQUIPMENT CONTROL The weapon control will be carried out each day, 30 minutes before the combined event start in the Shooting Range. Fencing equipment control will be made on 16 June. TRANSPORTATION Transportation from/to the National Airport Minsk, Minsk Railway Station, Minsk Bus Station as well as between the competition venues and Headquarters Hotel will be provided by LOC.
The flight information must be provided in good time according to the deadline on Entry Form C. VISA SUPPORT If the country of your National Federation needs a visa to enter the Republic of Belarus, please contact the Local Embassy or Consulate of the Republic of Belarus in order to arrange it. We will make the request to the Embassy or Consulate of the Republic of Belarus to issue a free visa for each entered participant. In case if there is no Belarusian Embassy or Consulate in your country, the participants will be able to obtain a visa at their arrival at the National Airport Minsk. If you need a visa contact LOC and provide the necessary document not later than May 17, 2014. INSURANCE According to UIPM Rules all members participating in the competitions must insure themselves in case of accidental injury or illness. The organizer will not accept any responsibility financial or other, for any loss, injury or illness of any Delegation member. FIREARMS Firearms Licenses are legal requirement for bringing air and CO2 pistols into the Republic of Belarus for competition purposes. However, please note the Pistol Model and Serial Number clearly in your Entry Form B. GENERAL INFORMATION All the athletes and the officials are kindly requested to wear their official national uniform at the competition. Please bring also a CD of your national anthem and a national flag. Please contact directly the LOC to request accommodation for family and friends wishing to attend the competition. The price will be 100 Euro including full board accommodation per person per day and local transport. Weather conditions: approximately 22 C. ENTRY FORMS
