DIRECTIONS TO HIGH POINT, NC From the North. Travel south on I-85. Option 1: At Greensboro, when I-85 South and I-40 West split, take I-85 South. Shortly thereafter, take Business 85 (Green Shield). Take the S. Main Street/High Point exit and turn right onto Main Street. Turn right onto University Parkway. Turn left onto Lexington. Make first left into the campus on Panther Drive. Option 2: At Greensboro, when I-85 South and I-40 West split, take I-40 West. When you see the airport signs, take Highway 68 South. Follow directions From the Airport below. Or...Follow I-77 South to Fancy Gap, Va. To I-74 east to US 52 South. Take US 52 South to Win ston-salem. Take I-40 East to Highway 311 South (Exit 196). At High Point, take the N. Main Street exit (Exit 65). Turn left onto Hartley Drive (at Wal-Mart/Chick-fil-a). Hartley Drive becomes University Parkway at Eastchester Dr. Continue and turn right onto Lexington. Make first left into campus on Panther Drive. From the Airport [Piedmont Triad/Greensboro-High Point]. Take 68 South to Oak Hollow Mall in High Point. At the mall, turn left onto University Parkway. FACILITY INFORMATION Parking Visiting Team Parking: Officials Parking: May park vans/buses between the Norcross building and the Millis Center (See diagram on page 5). This is accessed around the right hand side of the Norcross building. May park behind Norcross Graduate School anywhere in the parking lot. SPORTS MEDICINE High Point University s Sports Medicine Staff is dedicated to providing high quality healthcare for all of our student-athletes, as well as those of the visiting team. To ensure quality coverage, a certified athletic trainer will be in attendance at all athletic events. The Sports Medicine Center is located in the Millis Athletic and Convocation Center, right outside of the gymnasium in the main hallway. It is equipped with taping and evaluation areas, e-stim/ultrasound units, hydrocollators and whirlpools, and will be open two hours prior to the start of the contest. Should you need use of this facility, please contact the respective staff member below. The following services are provided for visiting teams: Visiting Team Locker Room: Taping/evaluation table (outside of locker room), Mini Hydrocollator (4 hot packs and covers), 5- Gallon cooler of water with cups, Ice chest with bags and flexi-wrap, Bottled water for half-time/post-game, shower towels. Visiting Team Bench Area: 5 Gallons of water, Cups, Injury ice with bags and flexi-wrap, Biohazard/first aid kit, Towels. TICKETING INFORMATION Currently High Point University Athletics does not charge for volleyball matches. WEB STREAMING Please note all High Point University Home Volleyball games are streamed live over the internet. To access go to highpointpanthers.com and follow the link at the bottom of the page labeled Live Video on the Big South Network. Specific game questions can be e-mailed to ccasey1@highpoint.edu. Note - responses may not be possible during game play due to availability. VIDEO RECORDING Visiting Teams may video tape in either end zone of the gym. An extension cord with a power strip will be provided at each end zone. 9
