Fall CHAMPIONSHIPS SWIM MEET @ Frisco ISD Natatorium HOSTED BY: Dallas Metropolitan Swim League SATURDAY/SUNDAY APRIL 27/28, 2019 Location: Frisco ISD Natatorium 7411 First St, Frisco, TX 75034 Facility: 8 lane, 25 yard competition pool with 4 lane, 25 yard warm-up pool. Daktronics timing system and scoreboard will be in use. The competition pool is compliant with, but not certified, in accordance with USA Swimming rule 104.2.2C. Only coaches, athletes and officials will be allowed on the pool deck, and no folding chairs will be allowed in the spectator seating area. Pool Measurement: The competition course has not been certified in accordance with 104.2.2C(4). The copy of such certification is not on file with USA Swimming. Course measurements will be verified each session in accordance with North Texas Swimming Rules. The minimum water depth, measured in accordance with Article 103.2.3, is 7 feet, 0 inches at the start end and the turn end is 7 feet, 0 inches measured for a distance of 1.0 meter to 5.0 meters from both end walls. No Swim ups. *Age is determined as of April 27, 2019 *All entries must have a time. NT s will not be accepted. *Teams with more than 25 swimmers must provide at least 1 SWIM OFFICIAL per session. Warm-up: General warm-up will last for the first 30 minutes of each warm-up session, with NO DIVING. The combined 15 minute starts and pace will allow diving, as noted below: Lanes 1 and 8 push swims from the starting end, NO DIVING Lanes 2 through 7 racing starts, one way only from the blocks On-Time Entries: Are due to alisha_garrett@att.net by Monday April 15, 2019 Entry fee for all swimmers is $25. Rules: Current USA Swimming, Inc. rules and regulations apply. North Texas Swimming safety guidelines and warm up procedures will be in effect at this meet. To meet safety regulations, the pool deck is limited to swimmers, coaches, officials, timers, and meet personnel only. Parents and other spectators must remain in the stands above the pool. No chairs are allowed in the stands area except for stadium seats. No standing along the railing will be allowed. No food or drink (except water) is allowed on the deck. Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms or locker rooms. Deck changes are prohibited. Drone Restrictions: Operation of a drone, or any other flying apparatus, is prohibited over the venue (pools, athlete/coach areas, spectator areas and open ceiling locker rooms) any time athletes, coaches, officials and/or spectators are present. Approval and Liability: This meet is approved for USA Swimming, by North Texas Swimming Inc. Sanction IN GRANTING THIS SANCTION AND BY ANY PERSON S PARTICIPATION IN THE MEET IT IS UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED THAT USA SWIMMING, INC., NORTH TEXAS SWIMMING, INC., ALL MEET OFFICIALS, FRISCO ISD and the SHALL BE FREE FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITIES OR ANY CLAIMS FOR ANY DAMAGES, EVEN IF SUCH LIABILITIES OR CLAIMS ARE DUE TO THE NEGLIGENCE OF SUCH ORGANIZATIONS, ARISING BY REASON OF INJURIES TO ANYONE DURING THE CONDUCT OF THE MEET. DAMAGE TO A FACILITY, WHEN PROVED, WILL CAUSE THE OFFENDING SWIMMER, IF UNATTACHED, OR THE OFFENDING SWIMMER S. IF ATTACHED, TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR REPAIRS.
Relays: Should be included in the Team Manager file and are $10. Awards: Heat Sheets: This meet will be scored. Ribbons will be given for the top sixteen (16) swimmers in each individual event and the top eight (8) relay teams in the relay events. Team awards will be given for the top three (3) teams. Each participant will receive a participation ribbon. High point awards will be awarded for the first three places of each age group. 6 & under swimmers can score points in 6 & under and 8 & under events, however only 6 & under events will count toward 6 & under high point. The 6 & under award will be given at the conclusion of Saturday s session. Heat sheets will be available at the concession stand for $4.00. Coaches receive a complimentary copy. Timers/Helpers: Deck Passes: Food: Results: Timer assignments will be given out per team by Friday. Coaches are responsible for keeping their timer chairs filled. Each team will receive 1 parent deck pass per 25 swimmers per session. PARENTS must stay in the stands. Swimmers must sit on the deck. NO DECK CHAIRS will be allowed on deck. A concession stand will be available. A hospitality area will be provided for coaches and officials. No Coolers are allowed in the stands or on the deck. Small personal coolers for swimmers are allowed. Results will be posted throughout the meet and will be distributed via email at the completion of the meet. Meet Mobile will also be active for this meet. (APP REQUIRED)
