ABOUT THE AGRI-SHOW We are celebratingthe 32nd anniversary of the Peace Country Classic Agri-Show in 2017. The Peace Country Classic Agri-Show is the largest of its kind in northwestern Alberta and one of the largest in western Canada. Hundreds of exhibitors will be on site both inside and outside the ENTREC Centre, which is also being used for seminars, a special breakfast and other events during the Agri-Show. While the ENTREC Centre is the focal point of the show, it is one of several venues at Evergreen Park used during the Agri-Show. Both the Drysdale Centre and Lewis Hawkes Pavilion will be hosting major events including the ATB Northern Classic Bull Sale & Show, Horse Show, Petting Zoo and 4-H activities. Clarkson Hall, newly renovated thanks in part to a Canada 150 grant, will be where the Farm Family of the year is celebrated with a banquet for about 500 people. Weather permitting the outdoor rinks at Evergreen will be open and during the Agri-Show admission to our indoor kids playground, Troyer Town, is free to those 12 and under who collect a free admission pass at the Investors Group Kidz Zone table at the entrance to the ENTREC Centre. Tradition, community spirit, and the opportunity to keep abreast of new technology these are at the heart of the appeal agricultural exhibitions have long held for Alberta s rural communities. This show presents a tremendous variety of displays and exhibits, and provides information on all aspects of farming and rural life. There truly is something for everyone at the Peace Country Classic Agri-Show. Those words were spoken by Alberta s Minister of Agriculture LeRoy Fjordbotten just before the first Agri-Show in 1986. They still apply today as we are about to celebrate the 32 nd Agri-Show. Whether you are a farmer looking to talk to manufacturers and distributors; want to sit in on a seminar to learn more about some aspect of the agricultural industry; or are an urban family looking to experience a taste of rural life the Agri- Show is the place to be. One of the more popular events for the youngsters last year was an auction held in the foyer of the ENTREC Centre. That event continues this year with money raised to bid on the auction raised by bringing a donation for the Food Bank. Last year almost 20,000 people took in the Agri- Show and expectation is as many or more will be there in 2017. There are a variety of sponsorships available to reach the masses. If there is something you would like to do, but it is not included in the inventory please let us know and we can work on custom-building something for you.
DAY SPONSORS It s a great day for an Agri-Show! And if you are a Day Sponsor a great day for your company! There are Thursday, Friday and Saturday Day Sponsor packages available. This package also includes your logo on the cover of the program on your day and not only will the signage which hangs from the ceiling in the ENTREC Centre be up for all three days of the Agri-Show we will hang it starting at least a month out. As the Day Sponsor, we will also do a short story on your company on the full color cover of that day s insert and you will have the ability to have staff greet people at the entrance into the ENTREC Centre. We will also make our foyer kiosk available for you on your day. And, as added value, your company will also be mentioned in our radio advertising leading into and during the Agri-Show as the day sponsor and promoted on the four advertising screens at Evergreen Park starting from the day you confirm your sponsorshiop! Your company logo will also appear on our 1,000 rack cards distributed in the area and on our Agri-Show website page. The signs are eight feet wide by three feet deep and they are two-sided so your branding can t be missed. Cost for this sponsorship is $2,500.
FENCE SIGNS SOONER YOU COMMIT THE MORE YOU GET! The entrance/exit at Evergreen Park is a well-travelled piece of road as people come and go on a daily basis and the Park hosts events on a weekly basis. Our outdoor skating rinks draw hundreds each week as does the Pines Restaurant & Casino and Troyer Town, the indoor kids playground, is busy, busy, busy. Last year, in fact, Troyer Town hosted 250 birthday parties and thousands more during public hours. The rink and Troyer Town are open until after the Agri-Show. You add those people into the normal mix who come out to the Park on a daily basis to use the indoor arenas and Monday to Friday it gets pretty busy. Then you toss in the events we are hosting before Agri-Show like the light show, Festival of Trees, galas, RV shows, wedding show and more and between now and March s Agri-Show there will be thousands upon thousands driving past the fence signs heading south into the Park and then again heading north when they leave. You want a nine foot by five foot fence sign (bottom photo) it s just $750 and it goes up as soon as it s made (you pay the $300 production cost). Want to leave it up for the entire year until after the 32 nd Agri-Show? Just $1,500 more! If you are a $5,000-plus sponsor your logo will go on the main entrance sign (top).
Banners @ Lewis Hawkes/Drysdale Centre MORE THAN JUST AGRI-SHOW How s this for a bargain? You get us your sign and it will be put in place in either the Lewis Hawkes Pavilion or Drysdale Centre at least a month in advance of the Agri-Show. That means instead of just days of promotion in front of the giant crowds that will be taking in the 32 nd annual Peace Country Classic Agri-Show March 9-11, your company will be exposed to the hordes of people who use the two buildings for weeks leading up to the big event. First come, first served in regards to location, but they are all going to be in prominent spots including on the back of the grandstand in the Lewis Hawkes Pavilion (top photo), on the railings in the Lewis Hawkes Pavilion (middle photo) and on the wall in the Drysdale Centre where the big event during the Agri-Show is the ATB Financial Northern Classic Bull Sale and, of course, the petting zoo and other events. The Lewis Hawkes will again be hosting the horse event part of the Agri-Show in 2017. And the real bargain is the price! Just $300 and you provide the banner. They can be no wider than six feet and no deeper than four feet.
Ent ranc e signage WE VE GOT YOU COMING AND GOING! There s two sides to every story, and in the cast of the Entrance Signage at the 31 st Annual Peace Country Classic Agri-Show there is two sides to it! The Entrance Signage will be located in a can t-miss spot leading into the Main Hall, where all of the exhibitors are set up for the annual event. Actually, can t-miss twice because each sign is two-sided with your company information on the front and on the back. The signs are three feet wide by two feet deep and are $700 for a pair which gets you all three days of the Agri-Show. Sign production cost is included in this sponsorship so you just have to provide us with your logo and info and we ll take care of it! The signs are rotated each day so your sign will be in a new spot each day. There will be a maximum of four pairs of signs.
50/50 TICKET SPONSORSHIP Looking for exposure at the Agri-Show that includes a warm and fuzzy community aspect? The Peace Country Classic Agri-Show 50/50 program is exactly what you need! Sellers from a local non-profit group will be using Evergreen Park s 50/50 program to sell tickets all three days of the Agri-Show. Your logo will appear at the top of every ticket (see mockup right), your company will be promoted during advertising for the 50/50 program on Park screens, on the Park website and in our media buys. There will also be a 50/50 table in a prominent spot at the Show where you can create company signage promoting the 50/50 program. You also have the option of having people from your staff get involved in the 50/50 sells. At the end of the show a photo will be taken of a cheque presentation (funds raised via the 50-50) to the non-profit group by a representative from your company. It will appear on Evergreen Park s Facebook and Twitter pages as well as website and will be sent to the newspaper for publication. There will be a draw each day. The winner will have until a half hour before the opening of the next day s show to claim their prize. The Saturday winner will have until the Tuesday after the show to claim. If no winner comes forward Thursday or Friday that money will be rolled into the draw the next day. The Stompede logo also appears on the tickets because they purchased the electronic system for Evergreen Park. Cost for the 50/50 program for the Agri-Show is $1,000.
THE PROGRAM A NEW COVER EVERY DAY OF SHOW Again this year there will be new covers every day and some updated info and contest entries in an insert in the middle. You can purchase covers or inside pages for the main program or insert as well as inside pages for both. All ad pages will be in full color. Cost for an inside location is $300 for a full page or $175 for a half page. This year we are also doing banner ads. Send us your logo and some information and we will place a banner ad (1/4 of a page) in the threeday program for you. Cost is $100. The inside front and inside back covers are $400 for one day or $800 for all three days. The back cover is $450 for one day or $900 for all three.
