MISS LEWIS COUNTY PAGEANT 2010 RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR MISS LEWIS CO. FAIR 1. OPEN STATEWIDE 2. Lewis Co. will award 1 crown in the Miss Category. The highest overall score will be named Miss Lewis Co. Fair and will represent our county at the state fair competition in January, 2011. The Lewis Co. resident with the highest score will receive the Roger Bivens Memorial Scholarship. 3. Contestants will be judged on interview, swimwear, evening gown, and on stage question, taken from interviews. 4. Application and entry fees must be received no later than Aug. 12, 2010, for the $35.00 entry fee. Late registration will be taken until Aug. 15, with a $10.00 late fee. Entry fees are non-refundable. 5. Rehearsal will be held on Sunday., Aug. 15,. at the Lewis Co. Fairgrounds @ 5:00 P.M. Attendance is NOT mandatory, but numbers will be drawn and the entire production will be run through. (Dress Comfortably) 6. Score Sheets will not be made public and the judges decision will be final. 7. Each contestant will be allowed one (1) person to assist them. Although we will use the Middle School to dress, space is limited, so we ask that you strictly adhere to this rule. 8. Hair and Make-up should be as natural as possible. The pageant is held outdoors with lighting, so use your best judgment for onstage appearances. Use 25% less for interview. Interviews will be held on Aug. 19. Pageant will be held the same evening. Times will be determined after applications are received. 9. Contestants must be between the ages of 16-21,by October 31, 2010, single, never married, never had children, and never been convicted of a felony. 10.Lewis County Fair will pay for one room, 2 nights @ State Pageant, and 2 pageant tickets. 11. The winners must participate in the local parade on Aug. 21, 2010, work the Horse Show on Sat. nite, and any other event, if needed. 12. Crown must not be worn with jeans at any time.

MISS PRE-TEEN LEWIS CO. 1. OPEN STATE WIDE 2. Pre-Teen contestants will be judged on personal interview, sportswear, evening gown, and on stage question determined after interview. Interview will be held Aug. 18, 2010. Pageant held later that evening. Times will be given after all applications are received. 3. Interview dress should be an age appropriate outfit. Summer Dress, Dress Slacks, etc. Do not wear jeans, shorts, or casual wear for interview. Use MINIMAL makeup, if any. 4. Sportswear choice will be aligned with State Pageant requirements. Check State website for more information. 5. Winner will represent Lewis Co. at the State Pageant in October, 2010. 6. Lewis County Fair will pay for one room, 2 nights @ State Pageant, and 2 pageant tickets. 7. Entry Fee and Application must be received by Aug, 12 2010. ($35). Rehearsal will be held on Sun. Aug. 15 @ 4:00 P.M. at the Lewis County Fairgrounds. Late entries will be accepted on this date at a charge of $45.00. 8. Winner will be expected to participate in the parade on Aug. 21 and be available for other appearances if needed. 9. Score sheets will not be released and the decision of the judges is FINAL.
TINY MISS & LITTLE MISS LEWIS CO. 1. OPEN STATE WIDE. Winners will NOT advance to State Pageant. 2. Contestants will appear in pageant attire and answer on-stage question, which will be given at rehearsal. 3. Winners are expected to participate in the parade on Aug. 21, 2010,, and any other event as needed. 4. Score Sheets will not be distributed and the judges decision is final. 5. Deadline for entry fee of $25 and rehearsal will be on Mon., Aug. 16, @ 3:15 at the Lewis Co. Fairgrounds. Rehearsal is optional. 6.
