Murray Bridge Show 23th and 24th 2016 This years show will be held on the Friday and Saturday. Friday gates open at 4pm and close at 10pm. Saturday will be normal. A great chance to get your lighting plants out and make it a twilight meeting. Tea will be put on at 6pm Friday so come and join us and make our local show great. We have a better spot this year. Setup from 12pm Friday. FIREWORKS FRIDAY NIGHT!!!!! Presidents Report 2015-16 The past 12 months has bought nothing but positives for us and our club, we have growing member numbers, growing active member numbers, we have attended many events throughout the state and country, we are becoming more and more recognised throughout the vintage movement as an individual club, as well as a key part of the restoration/preservation movement as a whole. Internally we have flourished, the diverse array of vehicles that have frequented meetings and social gatherings related to the club is unreal, and what s more with every sighting of something new, it encourages more people to do the same. We have had a couple hugely successful working bees, which have sorted and arranged our shed to a point where it s inviting and functional, a huge thankyou to all who have donated time, materials, equipment and skills to get it to where it is now. We held what is turning out to be one of the biggest and most looked forwards to jumble auctions in the state, which not only was a great fundraiser, but a great way to get focus on our humble club and its members, not to mention a great way of possibly picking up a new project or piece to finish one. I do know that there are people already lining up with some really nice items for the next club auction, so again it s not to be missed. Our Next rally will be here before we know it, we have started to get entry forms back already so yet again it s shaping up to be a great success. I m hoping to have something that will be a first time out and totally different to the normal exhibit, but we will have to wait and see if it comes to fruition. Looking forward, we will have the usual shows, rallies etc, but if anyone has an idea for a social outing, a club run, a new show to attend... or even thinks it s about time to have a sausage sizzle at the shed, by all means bring it up, I think we will all continue to grow if we can keep the social and active side of the club alive. One last thing, I ve thrown it out there before, 2019 NHMA National Rally. Are we interested in putting a submission in, or a group submission or anything for that matter? And Tractor Trek, Do we want to do another one? A single day trek, a Weekend trek, or longer? Just a local one or go a submission for a National Tractor Trek? Food for thought, and please let me know. Cheers Jayme J.A.Marshall

It happened to be having a service starting so they both sat in.. Ivan and I kept an eye on the displays as we ate Hot Donuts that were being bought around and sold all weekend Alongside of our displays were a group of lady s with sewing weaving machines and rug making going on One lady on a sewing machine was in for a laugh and Ivan and I kept her amused so much that we did not really see that she made or achieved anything all weekend.
