24 March 2014 Dear Friends, 10 th IWAS WORLD JUNIOR GAMES 2014, Stoke Mandeville, Great Britain 2 to 8 August Thank you to all the Nations for your overwheling support. To date IWAS has received entries fro 25 Nations - 250 copetitors and 150 staff expressing their interest to attend the gaes at Stoke Mandeville, the birthplace of the Paralypic Moveent. If any Nation did not return the first entry for, the opportunity to enter the Gaes is still open. Accoodation ight be ore costly than advertised if teas do not want to stay in the doritory accoodation at Stoke Mandeville as we have liited accoodation on-site. All 8 sports: Archery, Athletics, Wheelchair Fencing, Powerlifting, Shooting, Swiing, Table Tennis and Paratriathlon received entries and we shall keep the all on the prograe. We do however retain the right to cancel a sport should the nubers in the final entries ake the sport not viable to put on. We shall also have Para-Taekwondo as a deonstration sport and as it s been shortlisted for 2020 Paralypic status I a sure it will be of interest to all. Attached is the Final Entry pack with updated inforation and the spreadsheet to coplete in detail. Full payent ust be subitted to IWAS to ake entries official and final. No Visa letters will be distributed if payent has not been received and financial details are in the inforation package. The deadline for subitting Final Entry Fors is 25 June 2014. PLEASE NOTE: For results to be recognised by the IPC Sports (This is not a requireent for entering the Gaes only for IPC results and record recognition) Athletes ust be licensed by IPC before the start of the copetition. IPC Licensed athletes ust have a valid, current, IPC Review or Confired International to be eligible to have their results recognised by IPC for the purposes of rankings, records and qualification for future events. Accreditation Card Process Entry fors should be subitted by e-ail. Each eber of the Delegation ust subit a photo. Photos ust be of passport size, taken within the last 6 onths. Photos can be sent electronically preferably in *.JPG forat. Flag and National Anthe Nations are requested to provide IWAS with an electronic copy of both their National Flag and Anthe or the link to a website fro where the correct inforation can be downloaded. ONLY 30 seconds of National Anthes will be played during edal cereonies. Nations have the option to provide IWAS with a 30 sec recording of their preferred part of their anthe. If IWAS has to shorten the National Anthe we shall record the first 30 seconds of the Anthe. This inforation is required by 25/06/2014. Athlete Replaceent/Substitution: Nations can replace/substitute copetitors of the sae gender, class and event for those that have to withdraw for whatever reason up to 3 weeks (12/07/2014) before the start of the gaes. Doping controls: The IWAS doping rules apply. Athletes can be tested for doping at any tie, during or out of copetition. Insurance: Copetitors have to provide insurance for their own accident and liability. The organiser excludes any liability and assues no responsibility for loss or theft of aterials or personal belongings during the gaes. Conclusion: All participants have the duty to observe safety regulations and other regulations of the organiser. The TD reserves the right to ake changes in the schedule.
