We started the event with a gathering to decorate the float. Thanks to Dave and Debbie Vinson, we had Parrothead Beach via their trailer and a ton and a half of sand!!! The decorating occurred at Art and Dawes Thomas driveway. After decorating the float and then disassembling it for the evening we had chili and watch the CATS win. Thanks to Art and Dawes for hosting and to Dave and Debbie for the float. Saturday morning the float was reassembled and we gathered on Midland to await the parade. We had a causality while waiting Tanya Ebersohl fell while skating and got a ride in the E-Squad. But she was smiling when she left! Tanya, hoping you are doing well. The parade went off on time and we managed to give away about 2500 strings of bead! Great Time was had by all!!.

P A G E 2 HAPPY HOURS ARE THE FIRST TUESDAY OF EVERY MONTH! Happy Hours? We got em! The Vice President of Wild Life is working to find a great place for the April Happy Hour. We are looking at B D s Mongolian Grill in Hamburg. They have an awesome garage patio which can either be opened or closed depending on the weather. We ll let you know shortly! March was at Ramsey s and we had a great turnout! 2016 Conventions of Interest! Meeting Of The Minds Key West Registration is still open!!! At last count we were at about 20. Hope everybody jumps on the wagon and heads south with us. Going to be a Great Year! The dates are Nov. 2-6. Fair warning!!! We received an email indicating that the registration is filling up at a record pace. If you are sitting on the fence, I would recommend you jump in sooner than later. Hate to see anybody left out this year since it is the 25th Annual MOTM. Rumors are flying about a surprise guests. No guarantees but just saying. Parrothead Rendezvous 2016 Registration has been extended to April 2nd! I m not sure who all are going down but I know there are at least a few. Hope you guys have a great time! The dates are April22-24. T H E P A R R O T H E A D T I M E S

March Charity: Ronald McDonald House We are keeping it simple this month and going back to an old activity collecting Tabbies. The pop top on pop and beer cans are valuable and Ronald McDonald House collects them to help support their activities. I know its late notice but some of you collect them already so bring them to the meeting. Obviously, they will accept money as well. April Charity: See Cruise Next month we will be supporting the See Cruise. The Board has voted to be a $250 sponsor. Other ways to support the event are by attending and or donating something for their silent auction and raffles. Ticket in advance are $10 and $15 at the door. To buy tickets in advance, go to www.bgbky.org and look under special events. Road Clean-up Road Clean-up will be April 23rd. More details next month!

We have reserved the bus as usual and Mike Robinson (our favorite driver) will be taking us up. I m sure he will play a bit of music in the parking lot as well. We plan to have the grill and we shall eat well. The bus list will be at the meeting Friday night so get on sooner than later. Cost will be about $25/person and includes the food. Invite your friends along as well. Members get first dibs though. There are some other tour locations which could be interesting as well including Nashville, TN May 26th and Frisco, TX May 28th. ROAD TRIP, ROAD TRIP! WE NEED SOME ROAD TRIPS THIS YEAR!!!

P A G E 5 2016 Club Dues Your Club Dues are Due!!!. After Jan. 31st dues went up to $25.
