Elders Wood Cut Culture Camp Cut Off June 1 st August Pow-Wow Cut Off June 1 st Fishing Trip Cut Off June 1 st Easter Breakfast Casserole Ingredients: 1 pound bacon 1/4 cup diced onion 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper 3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese 8 eggs 2 cups milk 1 (16 ounce) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 7x11 inch casserole dish 2. Fry the bacon in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate. Crumble. 3. In a large bowl beat together eggs and milk. Mix in cheese, bacon, onion and green pepper. Stir in the thawed hash browns. Pour mixture into prepared casserole. 4. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 30 minutes until eggs have set.

During that one year, the Tribal Elders WILL NOT be allowed to receive Elders Tickets.

SILETZ TRIBAL ELDERS COUNCIL UNAPPROVED MOTIONS March 2019 Meeting Motion #1 Terry Andrews made a motion to approve the agenda. Motion was seconded by Ray Ben. MOTION PASSED. Motion #2 Earl Edmonds made a motion to approve the Elders Council meeting minutes for February 23, 2019. Motion was seconded by Sandi Steele. MOTION PASSED. Motion #3 Terry Andrews made a motion that we have the same band as last year. Motion was seconded by Sheryl Simmons. MOTION PASSED. Motion #4 Rachenda Reynosa made a motion that we have one cup for each table as the centerpiece. Motion was seconded by Cynthia Farlow. MOTION PASSED. Motion #5 Lori Brown made a motion to talk to Teresa Gass regarding the cost of the centerpieces. Motion was seconded by Juanita Smart. MOTION PASSED. Motion # 6 Rachenda Reynosa made a motion that June 1, 2019 be the cutoff date for the Culture Camp signup. Motion was seconded by Patricia Fredrickson. MOTION PASSED. Motion # 7 Sheryl Simmons made a motion that you have to live 60 miles or more from Siletz to have a room reserved for you for the August PowWow and for Culture Camp. Motion was seconded by Donna Kessinger. MOTION PASSED. Motion #8 Terry Andrews made a motion that June 1 be the cutoff date for the August PowWow. Motion was seconded by Alan Fish. MOTION PASSED. Motion #9 Terry Andrews made a motion that 30 elders will go on the fishing trip, with the cutoff date of June 1, 2019. Motion was seconded by Alan Fish. MOTION PASSED. Motion #10 Alan Fish made a motion for a $50.00 per diem for the Warm Springs trip. Motion was seconded by Sylvia Butler. MOTION PASSED. Motion #11 Ed Ben made a motion that the cutoff date for the Warm Springs Honor Day be the date of our next meeting, April 13. Motion was seconded by Alan Fish. MOTION PASSED Motion #12 Sandi Steele made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Motion was seconded by Glendora Osborn. MOTION PASSED. Next Elders Council Meeting Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Aces Golf Course.
