The International Futsal Alliance are pleased to invite you to participate in the Women s Futsal World Cup 2017. The World Cup is the pinnacle event in the International Women s Futsal Calendar, and will feature teams from several nations. IFA are reserving positions for only eight delegations. Spain s stunning coastline will be the backdrop for the event and will offer plenty to do for participants and supporters. In addition to the five competition days, teams are will take part in a welcome dinner. On the final night a presentation dinner will also take place to award the World Championships and give an opportunity for teams to farewell each other. An initial training day on arrival and a tourist day in Barcelona are optional for all teams.
The International Futsal Alliance (IFA) is a co-operative of like minded groups around the world who support and have a passion for futsal and want to work together to see it s successful development. All IFA tournaments are played under FIFA rules, and the majority of members are affiliated to and supportive of FIFA s development and management of Futsal across the World. IFA will continue to work with all nationals to develop the sport. The event will be hosted by Barcelona Futsal Tours. This company was established with the idea to bring other countries the Spanish Futsal Methodology. Barcelona Futsal Tours seek to give to teams from across the world opportunity to learn and improve their futsal knowledge while seeing one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
Stretching north to the French border, the Costa Brava, or rugged coast, is by far the prettiest of Spain s three principal holiday coasts. The area from Loret de Mar to Blanes will host the 2017 Women s Futsal World Cup. Though you ll find plenty of tourism development and English breakfasts, there are also unspoiled coves, charming seaside towns with quality restaurants and spectacular scenery.
There will be 3 packages to choose from for your stay, however the schedule is proposed as follows: Day 1, 23 rd May Arrive. Training session. Welcome Dinner Day 2, 24 th May Day one of competition Day 3, 25 th May Day two of competition Day 4, 26 th May Day three of competition Day 5, 27 th May Semi Finals Day 6, 28 th May Grand Final. Presentation Dinner Day 7, 29 th May Tourist Day in Barcelona (Optional) Day 8, 30 th May - Depart The competition draw will be split into two groups of four. Games will be 2 x 20 minutes, stop the clock.
Accommodation will be provided for teams arriving on the 23 rd May and departing on either 29 th or 30 th May (dependant on your package option). The four star accommodation will provide: Breakfast Lunch Dinner Each country will be provided with airport transfers from Barcelona International Airport or Girona International Airport, and all ground transfers where applicable.
Around your tournament matches, you ll have access to an array of activities on the Beautiful Costa Brava coast. Tournament organisers are also offering an optional day tour of Barcelona. More information on this tour will be provided on request.
There are varying package options available to suit each countries requirements. Delegations are limited to 14 players and 4 team officials. Minimum size for delegations must be 12 to ensure costs are consistent. Additional people can request to attend but prices will be subject to availability. There is a limited number of rooms available at the tournament hotel. Teams must provide their own travel/sports injury insurance to be eligible for the event.
