RIDERS BRIEFING: Riders briefing is compulsory. A horn will sound as a 4 minute to start signal for riders briefing. All riders (parent or guardian if under 18 years) must attend, there will be a random roll call, and any competitor not present will be fined or worse. Riders Briefing is a NO Smoking Area. RACE FORMAT: This event is a 2 day enduro, for both Senior & Junior riders. MA Enduro rules (GCR s) will apply to this event. *** Please note all classes will be wholly on private property, therefore NO headlight or tail/brake light, stand and rego are required. Riders will leave in groups of 3 at 1 minute intervals. Time cards will be scored as per MA Enduro rules. Riders will be issued a time card prior to each day. ALL riders must carry their time card with them at all times. Time schedules will be posted on line at www.nswoffroad.com.au and on the notice board at the event. Special Test Starts: Riders will be self-starting at 15 second intervals. Riders must start within 5 seconds of being directed by the start signal. Tailgating off the start line will incur a penalty. Seniors will ride for approx. 6.5-7 hours Saturday and 5.5-6 hours Sunday. Seniors will pre ride all Enduro tests. Due to their location, not all tests will be available to walk, these tests will be pre ridden. Juniors will ride for 3-4 hours each day. Juniors will pre ride all tests. WALKING OF TRACKS: ALL RIDERS may walk the tests after 10.00 am Friday. Riders may walk Sunday s tests (if available) half an hour after completion of racing on Saturday. All riders must sign an indemnity form (Parent or guardian if competitor under 18 years) NO BOTTLED WATER CAN BE TAKEN ONTO THE TRACK WHEN WALKING USE A CAMEL BACK FOR HYDRATION No riders may enter the course without the permission of the Clerk of Course after racing has started. SIGN ON: All competitors must have and present at sign on, a current MA National Junior (also JCP Logbook) or Senior National licence or have pre organised MA One Event Licence. Riders will be asked, at sign on, to sign a declaration confirming they will attend riders briefing (a random check will be made at briefing) and a camping declaration (for those camping). As per Supp Regs, riders will also be asked to sign a Contract to Participate (indemnity). SCRUTINEERING: All competitors are asked to present their bikes and helmet and armor (juniors) at Machine Examination. Bikes will be scrutineered to ensure they comply with the current GCRs headlight, taillight, brake light & stand will be exempt (not required). Bikes will be marked (except muffler and crankcase) and riders will sign to acknowledge markings. All riders must attend scrutineering with their Helmet. Helmets with camera mounts attached will not be accepted. As per MOMS Bar ends must be plugged and cross bar pads fitted.
CHANGE OF BIKE / WHEEL / TYRE RULE: A rider may only change bike or wheel or tyres prior to the start of racing each day. If a rider needs to change either bike or wheel after Saturdays racing they must present their bike 4-5pm Saturday or 6.45-7am Sunday to scrutineering. NUMBERS: All Number Plates and numbers on all Machines MUST comply with the current GCRs. ANY BIKE THAT DOES NOT HAVE THEIR NUMBER CLEARLY DISPLAYED ON ALL 3 NUMBER PLATES WILL BE ABLE TO PURCHASE NUMBERS FOR $25.00 Electrical tape and/or texta will not be permitted Any refusals will deny rider entry without refund. COURSE: The course shall consist of sections of trail and special tests which has been marked with their distinctive arrows & bunting. Two arrows adjacent on the course are GATE course markers ie riders MUST ALWAYS pass between these arrows. Any slashed area IS the course, riders must not leave the slashed areas. We will be maintaining the course markings throughout the event, regardless of this, any deviation from the intended course is a breach of these instructions. Riders MUST stay on the intent of the course. No Deviation will be accepted. STARTS & START ORDER: Riders will leave 3 per minute in seeded order for Saturday. Start order for Sunday will be as per results from Saturday. The Clerk of the Course reserves the right to seed riders into the start order for the purpose of safety before and during the event. REFUELLING Refueling will be at your campsite, there will be an additional refueling area for those not camping and Factory teams/trucks. All pro class will refuel together in the same laneway. Refueling areas will have one entry and one exit and will run in one direction (clockwise). Enviromats, 1m x 1.6m, must be used when replenishing any fluids, penalties will apply for non-compliance. RIDERS MUST NOT SPEED IN THE FUEL CONTROL IDLE SPEED ONLY. Riders must dismount, engine must be turned off and enviromat under bike prior to refueling. During the event - ALL REFUELLING AREAS ARE NO SMOKING & NO ALCOHOL AREAS Closed footwear must be worn - thongs are NOT permitted. Pushbikes are also NOT permitted. FIRE EXTINGUISHERS: EACH RIDER/CREW MUST Supply a minimum 1KG Powder Fire Extinguisher at their refuelling area. FOOTWEAR AND PUSHBIKES: In all event areas: There is to be NO pushbikes, NO smoking, NO alcohol and NO open footwear (no thongs). HELMETS AND DOUBLING: Helmets MUST be worn at all times by any person on a motorcycle whilst at this venue. Doubling on motorcycles is NOT permitted unless both persons on the motorcycle are entered in the event and wearing helmets.
CAMPING: Camping will be available Friday & Saturday nights. Cost of camping is $20 per vehicle/family. Camping fee MUST be paid at sign on and a sticker will be issued for each vehicle. Please follow directions from volunteers for parking arrangements There are portable toilets no water or electricity. There is LIMITED mobile phone coverage at the venue. Individual campfires will be permitted if they are off the ground. Campers must be responsible and cautious. A fire extinguisher must be readily available at the fire. ALL Campfires MUST be extinguished by 7am until completion of racing each day. Please leave access road clear and be considerate of other campers. Camping in marked area ONLY. There will be a Club official to direct campers. Riding though camp area at idle (1 st Gear) speeds only excluding quiet times! Directions issued by the camping official MUST be adhered to by all persons There is a 7pm curfew on all persons under the age of 18. After 7pm all persons under the age of 18 MUST be in the company of their parent or legal guardian at all times. There is a 9pm noise curfew. No noise what so ever after 9pm, including but not limited to generators, bikes, and loud voices. All campers are to report any problems to the camping official. Photo and video evidence would be appreciated. Any person found to be breaching the camping regulations shall be evicted from the camp site, refused camping at all other venues and may have a penalty imposed up to exclusion. Adult riders are reminded they are responsible for their family and service persons. Bikes MUST NOT leave the camp/race area - PLEASE RESPECT the landholder s property. TRANSPONDER HIRE: Transponders will be available for collection on Saturday at Sign on. Transponder brackets will not be hired brackets will be for sale at sign on for $15.00 please ensure you bring the correct money. Please ensure you bring cable ties in order to secure your transponder & bracket to your motorcycle. ENVIRONMENTAL: All service crews must clean up their area before they leave. All camp areas MUST be left clean. TAKE ALL YOUR RUBBISH HOME WITH YOU no bins provided. Riders will be issued with garbage bags at sign on. Additional bags are available on request. ENVIROMATS must be used when refueling Enviromats in 2017 MUST measure 1m x 1.6m and be of approved absorbent material, rubber backed carpet is acceptable. Enviromats are available for sale $15.00 at sign on. The creeks CANNOT be used for washing motorcycles or gear. WASHING OF MOTORCYCLES: Motorcycles can ONLY be washed using a bucket and sponge at your area (camping / refueling). NO pressure washers are permitted. Motorcycles and gear CANNOT be washed in the creek. CANTEEN: Kyogle Rotary will be running a canteen: Friday afternoon & night dinner Saturday breakfast till finish of racing Sunday breakfast till finish of racing, with plenty of hot food & hot and cold drinks, including plenty of pastas. Please support the local community and show your appreciation for all their efforts.
LOCAL COMMUNITY: Please support the local community as we rely on their positive feedback to council for our track licence. PRESENTATION: Presentation will be held on Sunday for the event (both rounds) as soon as possible after racing. Riders must attend presentation in order to be entitled to any awards. Any riders who do not attend to receive their award will be fined. We ask that you dress in team/manufacturer or appropriate and presentable gear to accept you award. ENTRIES: A full entry list will be posted at www.nswoffroad.com.au All NSW Riders must enter via www.nswoffroad.com.au MEDICAL: RACESAFE Medical Team will be at the track from 7am until half an hour after racing on both Saturday and Sunday. Dr Michael Thumm from RACESAFE will be the Chief Medical Officer (CMO). He and one other member of the medical team will be on Motorbikes to ensure the quickest possible response times. LOCATION: Taveners Road, Little Back Creek Via Kyogle, NSW GPS CO-ORDINATES: SOUTH 37 49 23.55 EAST 144 55 36.115 DIRECTIONS: - Turn right off Summerland Hwy in town (Kyogle) toward Murwillumbah Kyogle Road approx. 2kms turn right again to continue on Kyogle Road (toward Murwillumbah) follow approx. 3km & turn right into Taveners Road follow Taveners Road to end & enter property CLOSE ANY & ALL GATES THAT ARE CLOSED BEHIND YOU. Access to venue is available from 8.00am Friday.
