Back to School Dance and Party Come and celebrate the beginning of the new school year at the PTC sponsored Back to School Dance is TODAY from 2:30 to 4:00PM! Tickets are $3.00. If you didn t purchase a ticket before school, you can still get one at lunchtime or at the door. Activity buses will be available immediately following the dance.

Bottled Water Drive FMS is now collecting cases of bottled water to help first responders or other emergency officials in the Houston area in cooperation with Chris Noonan from Merrill Lynch. We will collect cases of water from Friday, September 1st until Wednesday, September 6th. Please donate cases of water to help the people affected by Hurricane Harvey! Cash donations will also be accepted.
Bottled Water Drive AP classes will be competing to see which class can bring in the most cases of water. The winning AP class will receive a donut party!!! Adults will also be competing for a donut party! A total of 125 cases of water donated by faculty members will earn a donut party for for the adults!!! Every $2 donation will purchase 1 case of water!!!
Mathcounts and Scholastic Bowl News 6th graders interested in scholastic bowl will meet next week (Tuesday) from 2:30-4:00 in room 231.

Beta Club News Any student in the 7th grade who made honor roll last year as a 6th grader - - if you are interested in being a Beta Club Member this school year - there will be an information sheet in Mrs. Zinnen s room 235 and Mr. Zinnen s room 234. Stop by before 8:00 a.m. - and pick one up.! We will have these sheets available on Tuesday - Sept. 5th. - The due date for them will be Sept. 19th - Tuesday!!!!
